Peppermint Conditioner for Black, African American, Afro Caribbean, Dry, Coarse, and Highly Textured Hair - 8.5 oz Bottle

I love this conditioner as a leave in. My hair isn't dry and stays moisturized for days. My biggest concerns were the dryness and frizzing of my hair, this is a non issue for my coils now. When I first applied this I immediately could tell this was going to be s staple in my haircare regimen. I no longer even need Eco styler gel for hold this conditioner holds and gives my coils body and bounce. The peppermint smell drove my cat crazy at first but she's useto the smell now. I also purchased the 5 (1 ounce) samples sizes of hair oils, also a winner! The oils are fabulous but I rarely apply during the week after initially shampooing because the leave in conditioner keeps my hair so very well moisturized. I do sleep in a satin charmeuse bonnet I made at night because I couldn't see spending $65 for a bonnet that you were offering on your site. I'm newly natural and I've been looking for a product(s) that would work well for my hair type (4b and crown of my head 4c). I was definitely a little skeptical about spending so much on a product that I never heard of no less tried. Very happy that I went with my gut instinct because immediately after shampooing (which I bought as well), conditioning and applying the oil on(also purchased)the irritating itchiness that I was experienceing went away. The frizziness on my ends also went away, no more dryness,my hair is so much softer and managaeable and I love it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I wouldn't recommend it if your lookkng for something to DEFINE your coils/curls but it's definitely good for what I mentioned earlier....FYI a little goes a long way, no need to PILE any of the products on...for any newly naturals, good luck on your journey :)

I have natural AA hair and am always on the lookout for a product or product line to be my "go to". I've tried many, many products and have a couple of go to items from both Jessicurl and Jane Carter that I truly love. But the Northwest Scents peppermint shampoo, conditoner and hair pomade are my first experience of getting wonderful results from using just a single product line!! After the first use, and using the conditioner as a leave in, my hair is super soft, easy to manage, looks gorgeous and smells great!! I just came back to Amazon to order more!! After 5 years of searching, I've found the best products for my hair under a single product line!! Woo Hoo!(How about making larger sizes of the hair conditioner....more needed when using as a dc and leave in :)

I ordered using Amazon's super saver deal. My whole order came in one packed box with very little packing material. This allowed the items to break open and spill all over, damage products and just plan cause a mess. Unfortunately the conditioner container was cracked and has a slight leek, but I was able to change the container. The product is wonderful feels so clean and smells very good.

The scent is nice, like doublemint gum, and it is tingly. But it didn't hydrate my thick Mediterranean curls. The conditioner didn't untangle at all; I couldn't run my fingers through my hair while it was on it, even when using almost a cup's worth. My hair became frizzy again.I gave it a good try (3 weeks) and my hair is now frizzy, tangled, and not as shinny or hydrated. My scalp isn't itchy, but that was the case with Trader Joe's shampoo too.I am going back to Trader Joe's mint shampoo and conditioner. Those are also natural, cheaper, and work much better.

I have natural hair and this is my go to conditioner especially if i have an itchy scalp and need to de-tangle. The peppermint is really strong so becareful not to get this in your eyes. Lathers up perfectly and gives you the tingly clean feel. Great for detangling coarse hair. I will purchase again.

Very strong smell. Using it as a leave in. Not for us, too overpowering.

Phenomenal product that delivers in every way. Helped to reset damaged 4a/4b/4c natural hair in combination with the other peppermint products -- in one use!
