I used them for cover crop.

I primarily bought this to add to the winter rye grass for extra protein for the deer. The deer love this stuff so well that they have stopped eating out of the feeders. I gave 4 stars because I believe that it was only about 80% germination. Not sure why but it could have been my planting method. I will definitely buy again.

I bought a 5lb bag of the Austrian Field Peas as a cover crop to help my add some nutrients to my depleted clay soil. I planted successive rounds throughout late fall and winter (mild Northern CA weather). They germinated within days as long as there was enough rain/moisture. It is now late January and they are growing wonderfully!

I think every single seed germinated!! & they have grown well in AL all winter long
