It's a great read aloud for kids/students during the holiday season

Our daughter enjoyed sitting on our lap and listening to The Gingerbread Man. Soon she knew the story and would say "You can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread", along with us. She would motion with her arms and pretend to be running.It was her favorite children's book and ours too because she liked it so much. She is nearly forty five and has two granddaughters. We wanted to give them the book so their Mom could read it to them just as it was to their Grandmother. Whenever I saw a Golden Book Display always tried to find it. Thought it may be out of print until I looked at Amazon.com.

Love this book from my childhood, one of the first books I bought for my daughter when I found out I was pregnant.

Cute pictures. Not the traditional story. Sad about that

This book has been read over and over and over again just like Brown Bear, Brown Bear book. My children don’t get tired of it after reading it every night for the past month. I definitely recommend.

Grands enjoy the story

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my students last December. This version of the story is great and the illustrations were nice. This would make a great Christmas gift and would go well with other Gingerbread theme items.

My grandson loved this book

Para niños que estan empezando a aprender a leer en ingles es muy divertido, facil de entender y con gancho.

Comme pour "the 3 little pigs" et "Little Red Riding hood", les petits adorent. C'est celui que nous avons plus plus lu (avec la petite poule rousse et les petits cochons). Un classique indémodable!Les textes sont faciles à lire et conforme aux contes que l'on connait.On en a acheté une dizaine il y a 3-4 ans en arrière et les petits ont bien accrochés. Nous passons de bons moments à lire et relire ces contes.A chaque fois on insiste plus sur le vocabulaire, les dessins aident à comprendre et aussi pour poser des questions.Seul bémol, le papier est "plastifié"ce qui est superbe mais la couverture n'est épaisse, c'est plus maniable mais ça s'abime plus vite aussi, surtout avec les plus petits mais on ne peut pas tout avoir!!Je recommande vivement. Très bon rapport qualité prix surtout qu'il n'est pas toujours facile de trouver des livres en anglais (et à petit prix).
