A Great Steamer at a Great Price
This is a great steamer. Easy to set up, easy to use.. It does not take very long to be ready once you fill it with distilled water, plug it in, and turn it on. It provides a good, steady steam. The best price is that it didn't cost much.We borrowed one from a neighbor and loved it so much that we ordered one for ourselves. It arrived just in time to steam the wedding dress for our daughter's wedding, abd then we used it for all of the table clothes and several suits. It has become a useful tool in our laundry.Thank you!

Perfect For a First Time Steamer
I rarely Iron my clothes, but I went through and ironed almost everything in my closet (minus dry-clean-only items), which resulted in me purchasing a steamer. It took forever, I wasn't very mindful of where I was placing/grabbing the iron, and I kept putting creases in where they shouldn't have been. Based on only reviews on Amazon, I choose this one as my first. I will probably never go back to an iron. Steaming took me just about as long (I'm getting better/faster) but the results were much better. No additional creases, only almost got a burn once (more on that later), the close were not only un-wrinkled but refreshed-smells/dirt were removed! This steamer is decently small, I'm able to keep it out 24/7 in my bedroom for morning/nightly steaming of clothes. It's very light (almost to a fault) so it's super easy to move - it does have two large wheels that help propel it). I'll go through my thoughts on it by the items that came in the box:1. The base - this is where you add the water and where the only weight comes from. I wish this was slightly heavier: I have it set up on a hardwood floor so once or twice I've pulled the hose too hard and it has spun a bit. You can add enough water to last more than a week's worth of clothes in my case. It's also taken me awhile to get the hang of steaming, so I'm sure it's longer than a week's worth of water. There doesn't seem to be any sort of filtration system, so I was warned to be wary of calcium build up if you're using tap water.2. Telescoping pole/topper - this just gets placed into the base. At first glance it looked as if it would be too flimsy, but it is very solid once in place. There is also a plastic topper that acts as a steaming head holder on one side, and then a hanger holder on the other. I dislike that the steam head faces towards you and your garment while it's in the holder, I'm nervous still that while I'm changing out the garment I'll get burned.3. Hose/Steaming Head - the head comes attached to a very thick, sturdy hose that attaches very securely to the base. The hose is long enough for you to move around from side to side with (it's roughly the a few inches taller in length than the telescoping pole). The head is made of plastic.4. Attachments - The steamer head is capable of adding a brush (love it) for getting dust/fuzz/hair off of your garment as you're steaming. It's perfect because it really shows you how far away you should be from the garment; and a crease tool, which I haven't yet tried out and probably won't. The tool operates by a lever you push that is located just below the brush head, again too close to the steam for my comfort. It also comes with a square "pressing pad" that is really a cheap piece of foam covered in some material that actually does protect your hand -- that is the part of your hand that is covered by this small square. I have small hands and did catch my hand in the steam when using this once. Particularly your wrist/forearm. I would suggest forgoing this one and buying a larger one or a mit if possible. It is extremely helpful as a tool, though.I did notice the items are slightly damp after (I don't know why this came as a shock to me) so I would recommend steaming your clothes the night before just to make sure they are dry.I would recommend steaming garments over ironing to friends, this item in particular I would have no problem telling them to get because of the price and it gets the job done.

Faster than ironing!
This steamer compares to any pro portable steamer on the market. Literally heats up in seconds and ready for use. The hanger mast retracts for compact storage. Very easy to maneuver. The plastic hose is covered to prevent burning you hands while in use, a real plus. The added accessories really do work well. The clip rod holds the bottom of the garments straight, instead of holding garments with your fingers, eliminating steam burns to your fingers. With all the synthetic fabrics in clothes this steamer is a must.

Not very Deluxe..
It's okay. It gurgles a lot and spits out a lot of water onto my garments. I found that using the brush attachment is the best as it kind of scrubs the garment a but makes the wrinkles come out a bit easier. The water runs out very quickly and I feel I only get through a few garments before having to refill it. For one of my shirts I haven't been able to get it wrinkly free, it is quite thick though. For my slimmer shirts, it takes out wrinkles relatively easily. The plastic is pretty low quality and I feel like someone will snap very soon. The area where the steam comes out is not sturdy at all and feels like it will snap and half if I were to drop it on the ground. The stand as well is relatively flimsy but does it's job. The bonus accessories are meh to be blunt. The brush as I said was useful, the press pad is okay to get a nice press however it require the fabric to be very straight on against it or else you steam in a crease. Also, switching hands for steaming the other side of the garment is a bit annoying. Do not be mislead by the pictures the Amazon page shows, the steam is no where close to that powerful. The creasing tool I have yet to use but in all honesty if I needed a crease I would just use and iron because turning off the machine, swapping attachments, turning it on again just to put in a crease is definitely not worth the time. I will however use it until it stops working or breaks and then move on to another steamer, possibly the Rowenta IS6300 Master Valet but of course dependent on what is available when this goes out of commission.I may try and get a press pad that people use over clothing when ironing just to put it on the hanger to have it in between the garment to see if that makes for a better, cleaner steam. Currently I pull the garment tight and steam it because most of the time when I just go through the garment it pretty much does nothing.

Leaking inside of unit
I purchased this steamer in 2014. Initially it worked well, I didn't use it a lot, but was happy with it until a year a go, trying to use it to steam 2 daughters' wedding veils...at one point it stopped working altogether. I tried the vinegar (had only used distilled water in it), and it started up again sporadically, steaming for 30 seconds, then nothing. I finally took it apart (as another customer had done with a different model) and was appalled to see that there was water and corrosion in the area where no water should have been, and all the electrical connections were corroded, as was the outside of the heating unit. On the outside of the bottom of the unit (the little air intake with square holes was all crusty form the water. Frightening. The light still comes on, but nothing else happens. Apparently the water is leaking from the little hoses that guide the water into the heating unit, or the gasket was leaking. Not sure I even want to try this brand again.
