This salsa is fantastic for enchiladas, as it is made from peppers while skipping the tomatillo/tomato base found in most verdes.

We get the mild Cantina version and it truly is among THE best tasting salsa products out there. The ONLY place in AK that you MIGHT find it is Walmart...but they often have no product or anything in inventory.I have NOOOOO problem ordering "in bulk" this way. The total price includes free shipping (for Prime members) and works out to almost exactly what we would be paying per jar at our local grocer.

Salsa aficionados use the product for a variety of foods, but especially meat and vegetables. This sauce is first class in the flavor department. Also good looking on the plate. Hard to find locally, so I'm glad I ordered a carton of 6.

Great salsa! I have an unfortunate food allergy - allergic to onions. Stumbled onto this salsa visiting family in Phoenix and it is delicious. Very rare to find a salsa that doesn’t contain onion.

Desert Pepper's Cantina salsa line is less expensive than the company's premium products, and it shows. Cantina lacks the same depth of flavors and smoothness of the regular Desert Pepper line. It's harsh stuff, better for cooking than for enjoying with chips and guacamole. Of course, it has a lower cost, but in this case, you do get what you pay for.

This is my favorite salsa, hands down. There is one grocery store near me who carries it and when I see that they have Cantina in stock, I buy all of it. However they are out of quite often, so I have to order on Amazon.Yes it may not be as unique as some of their other salsas, but for an everyday salsa this is it. Enter than a lot of salsa that is served in “Mexican” restaurants.Note to Desert Pepper - PLEASE don’t ever change formula or God-forbid, discontinue!!!

We love salsa and try different varieties wherever we go. We found this Desert Pepper salsa at a local grocery store in Florida and love it so much we put it on nearly everything! It's great for tortilla chips, breakfast burritos, baked chicken - just to name a few. We didn't find it in Michigan, but luckily we were able to order it from Amazon! We like it so much, we have even gifted jars to friends, so they can enjoy it as much as we do!
