Fits perfectly without adding bulk
Provides much better handling for my Ricoh GR III. The metal construction is solid, and it fits perfectly without adding bulk. Highly recommended for street photographers.

Not really a thumb grip kind of guy, but this one works great!
At first, I thought, who needs a thumb grip for a camera this small, all it will do is get in the way of the camera's good ergonomics. I wear large-Xlarge gloves, but I find the GR IIIx grip pretty comfortable. But I decided to try it anyway, and it really has made a good difference. It is sooo much easier to hold the camera one-handed with the thumb grip. And since I am often hanging the camera off a ledge or outside a car window or something, I feel much more secure with the thumb grip installed. Now, it is true it takes up the hot shoe, but I don't use the flash for this camera all that often because it doesn't really fit in my pocket with the camera. It is also designed well away from the controls (see pictures) so it doesn't get in the way when I make adjustments. The fit in the hotshoe is quite secure as well, I never have to worry about it. Once you put it on, it will feel like a native part of the camera. Can't ask for a better 3rd-party accessory than that!

Works nicely!
Works great, makes the camera much more comfortable in the hands. Good quality and looks good.Only con, the fit is so tight it’ll eventually scratch the camera a bit. Doesn’t bother me but note worthy issue forsure.

Works as expected
This thumb grip works great. Fits into the hot shoe of my Ricoh GR iiix like a glove and makes handling the camera one handed easy. My only gripe is trying to remove the camera from a pants pocket is a bit more difficult as this thing serves as a hook. So maybe it’s an anti theft device as well. Ha

Feels good, fits well, affordable and good looking
Not much to say other than it's great! It fits perfectly into the hotshoe, no wobbling or fighting, feels nice and solid, looks good, especially with the tiny strip of leather (though I'd tape over the logo or something), and gives you enough room to press the power and shutter buttons and operate the Adj. rocker underneath it. Small and round enough that it doesn't get caught coming out of a pocket or anything. Haven't tried it with a case though.Overall, highly recommended. Makes me a lot more confident one-handing my GR.

Could work for some but not for me
I decided to try out this grip since a number of photographers on Youtube recommended it, but unfortunately, it took me less than a day to realize it wasn't for me. The grip changes the way I hold the camera which actually makes it slightly more difficult to press the buttons. I have small hands, so perhaps it would be more comfortable for people with larger hands. It also tends to snag when putting the camera in and out of my pocket, which significantly detracts from the value of GR. If you're the type of person who always puts their camera in a dedicated bag/case, then this may not be an issue for you.Pros:- Solidly built metal construction.- Blends in with the camera's design seamlessly. It looks like it's meant to be there.Cons:- Forces you to grip the camera in a less comfortable way when reaching for buttons.- Snags easily when pulling it out of a tight pocket.
