Creativity Street Chenille Stems/Pipe Cleaners, Dark Green, 12 Inch x 4mm, 100 Count

I used to get these all the time when I was a kid and fold them into whatever was in my mind. Way later, I would bring them into my classroom and kids would do the same or string beads onto them for treasures they took home. Now I am retired and I used these to tie my new little trees to plant stakes and to hold a storage box shut instead of using a lock. I have found many excuses to use them to hold things in place. Never in the 55 + years that I have been using these have I ever cleaned a pipe with one but they will always be pipe cleaners to me. It was hard to pay this price for them since I am used to paying .99 but that is an all different conversation. They arrived fast, color quality is great. They are just as described in the photo and came well packaged. They still make me smile when I use them, too.

The package I bought contains 100, which should last for a while. I fold each one in half, then loop the pointed ends over and twist them slightly. After that I use needle nose pliers to press the sharp ends into the pipe cleaner (because the ends are close to the eyes when the pipe cleaner is in the face mask). Theseare working well for the original purpose. Am now also using them instead of twist ties for food in plastic bags. They are handy and seem to last longer than the twist ties that come with most products. Finally, those little plastic "squares" that are now on many bags of bread are not as easy to use either, so these work great. Many thanks for good value.

These are fine. They will serve my craft purpose just as well as any other pipe cleaner. They are slightly less full and less soft than the ones I was using before I ran out (see photo- original ones I was using on top, this product on bottom).

Great craft item.

Bought these as a replacement for another brand's discontinued item. Very pleased with them. The density of the fuzz is good and quite even (I've had consistency issues with other brands), and the wire is stiff but not too stiff. They are a little lighter than they look in the pic, which was ideal for me.Note they are 4mm thickness; if you've been using 3mm for specific crafts where you need a less chunky look, they're great! If you are used to the more common 6mm, you may be confused.

We used these instead of traditional christmas ornament hooks and they have been spectacular. I couldn't ask for anything better. We cut them in several pieces and tied on different sizes/weighted ornaments-none fell off the tree. We have half the package leftover and can reuse the ornament ties for next year. Great deal.
