Lumintrail Center Mount Bike Kickstand Adjustable Height fits Most 24” 26” 28” 700c Bicycles

Initial impressions: Feels relatively robust and holds my mountain bike up. I did not want the clunky looking clamp on style, so this was one of the few center-mount ones available. That said, it barely fits, without hitting the crank. Also, there is NO way to get an Allen wrench in to tighten it. I ended up having to use vice grips and it’s still not as tight as I’d like. Should have just included a hex head bolt or a stubby Allen wrench that can fit in the small space. For these reasons, I deducted a star.

Delivery was excellent per Amazon's normal great standards. I bought two Lumintrail kick stands and installed them on two mountain bikes. It so happens that for the men's bike install the kick stand was the Allen wrench adjustable-length model and for the woman's bike install the kick stand model was a simple push button adjustable length. Both installs were easy and secure due to the quality components. I like the feet on both of them due to the decent support area which should help in loose soil. They both are lightweight due to aluminum alloy (the fastener and cross support appear to be steel for strength purposes). The push button operated model makes a bit more noise when the bike hits the ground hard and if I were to buy another kick stand I would likely stick with the Allen bolt adjustable length model because I don't believe the length of the stand would need to be adjusted more than once per bicycle. I can't comment on durability because we have only owned the stands for a couple weeks.

This kickstand works as promised – I can now park my bike on grass without it falling down. Had a little difficulty installing it on my Trek bike. I couldn't get a wrench on the included bolt unless I removed the gear control, which I didn't want to do. I had to use vise grips to install the bolt, which tore up the top of it a little. But I did get it installed and it works perfectly.

My almost daily exercise bicycle is a Schwinn Commuter with a 35 pound weight. The stock kickstand has failed repeatedly & I no longer trusted it. I have lights, rear mirror, bicycle computer & phone mounted all of which can be broken due to an inferior kick stand.This is a happily sturdy model, easily adjusted for exact height & has a solid grip on the ground.Installation was simple virtually idiot proof.

Very happy with this product for the money. I added an ebike conversion kit to my mountain bike and the stock kickstand was to weak and flimsy to hold it up with the added weight. Now with this kickstand I have no issues.

Seems to be a good quality product. Fairly easy to install. I would however change the type of head on the mounting bolt. Not everyone has an Allen wrench that size and even if they do, like on my bike, there isn’t sufficient room to use it. A simple hex head bolt may be an option where one could get to the bolt with an open end wrench.

Bought this for my wife's bike, a Liv Tempt 3. The cables on this bike are routed through the downtube and then the front derailleur cable goes up through where this kick stand mounts. This caused the top plate to bind up the cable and the front derailuer not to shift. Had to drill a small hole in the top plate and then used a Dremel to turn the hole into a notch. This all worked great once done. This is not a complaint on the kickstand just a heads up if your bike does this as well. The only complaint I have for the kickstand is, the bolt needs to be changed so a wrench can be used instead of Allen key. Next to impossible to tighten. This is a great item otherwise. Nice looking, adjustable and sturdy. Would buy again and would recommend!

This is a very well made kickstand that is adjustable and has a good rubber skid boot on the end. Easy to mount and easy to adjust. (100 percent better than my stock kickstand. I replaced my kickstand on my 26" cruiser bike. I had to be careful because my bike would easily tip over. This kickstand is adjustable and I load my bike up with bags and it doesn't even budge. Great upgrade.
