Michigan waterproof boots
I purchased these boots primarily for 2 reasons. Firstly, a little while ago I purchased the Michigan 'galoshes' (rubber shoes), which were perfect for walking along wet surfaces and shallow puddles. They are well designed and constructed, comfortable and cheap to buy. Secondly, I found the galoshes were not as effective when it was raining heavily because the rainwater would drip off my trousers and into the galoshes. What my galoshes needed was an extension or 'neck' that I could tuck inside my trousers. Consequently I took an interest in the Michigan 'boot'. I did not need a knee-length neck, like a Wellington boot. I much prefer a shorter, calf-length neck. The Michigan boot proved perfect for my needs. They exude the same quality 'look & feel' as the galoshes and they are also comfortable and cheap. The boots are the same size as my galoshes (size 9) but feel one size larger (size 10). I can overcome this difference by wearing thick boot socks. Once again I have awarded 5-stars, and deservedly so.

Great but careful on sizing
Really impressed. Easy to put on and take off + comfortable. Much better than standard wellies but do watch out for the sizing. I reckon they come up about between one and two sizes larger than the standard fit. I’ve packed mine with innersoles that make them even more comfortable.

Over sized but a very good buy
Oversized but very good. Have just bought two pairs of these for my husband; initially a pair for when we're in our motorhome, they take up less room than ordinary Wellies but do the job just as well being quick to slip on to take the dog out. They are good value and seem well made so we've bought another pair for when he pops out into the garden. They are soft rather than rigid. They are however, OVERSIZED so maybe going down a size when ordering is a good idea. We sent for another size 9 in case it was a one off + a size 8 but the second pair were also too big so he has two pairs of size 8. I found the return and re order facility with the seller very good indeed, no hassle, VERY quick and efficient service indeed.

Wow. What service
Ordered these on Thursday delivered by Royal Mail FRIDAY....fantastic service, plus boots are really easy to put 0n and off ideal for quick access to the Garden, especially since its so wet and muddy. Better than using the full welly which can be a pain to clean the sole cleats afterwards. These are much easier to clean. One word to the wise, order a size smaller, after reading all the advice, i listened and did as advised, and they are just fine. It would have been too big if i had ordered my normal size. So far i would give these 10/10 lets hope the survive the punishment from my garden. Added bonus, they are not too expensive, especially compared to my Leather Wellingtons.

So comfortable I forget I'm wearing them
I've been wearing these since October down on my allotment and for the first time in years I feel both warm, dry. They're so light and comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them - and most shoes are problematic for me as I have one of the widest fittings, no toe-pinching with these at all. They're a great improvement on cheap wellies; your socks don't ride down and your feet are well insulated from the cold. After reading comments here I bought size 4 (I'm normally 5.5) and they fit perfectly.

Well well....most wel-come indeed
Remember those red rims somewhere around your soft (and chubby! )calves after even a short time in those dreaded old wellies? Or how you groaned and struggled to get them on and off? Well, forget all that and welcome these Michigan Miracles! Overstated? Not for me. The only overstatement is welly-size. They err on the larger footsie; fortunately I read up on previous buyers experiences and dropped a size....perfect fit. And Ticks too for weight (light-ish), short-ish bootlength and comfy lining... so no red sore rings around the calves. Splashed around on first venture out. No damp socks (or even sweaty smells!) on inspection. Toughness and durability I wait to see. But then, at this price I could afford them for a 4-footed friend and have some change compared with many more betterknown brands.

Too small?
Due to most of the reviews i ordered one size smaller a 6,as most said they were too big but they only just fit to the point as they would too uncomfortable for any length of time, not too bad as my wife can ware them but feel to her like one size too big and she is a 4 wide normally.Have ordered the correct size a 7 now so will see how they fit.I have now recieved a size 7 pair 27/08/2020 and the right foot only just fits with thin socks, not sure why many buyers are getting pairs that are too big,if anything i would need a size 8 to allow for thick socks in the winter. The product itself seems good at the moment but time will tell, my original rating was 3 which was unfair as it seems i got what i paid for so changed to a 5 star.

Good boots but are a very generous fit.
Bought for my husband to go fishing. He says they are good boots but be aware they are very big. He is a size 7 but there is a good 1 to 2 inches spare at the of his toe to the end of the boot. He isn't bothered cause he just gets out of the car, puts the boots on and then sits with his feet in water. Later he puts his trainers back on to drive home. Plus he has thick socks and boot liners so he didn't want them to tight a fit. So good boots but if you want to walk about in them just be aware you will probably need a smaller size.
