Great for household chores
Bought this for my husband and he loves it. I love it too because it saves me from having to hold a flashlight in an awkward angle for 30 minutes while he fixes something. The light is super bright and the charge lasts a really long time.

Convenience is the number one benefit of this light... It's a cheap weapon light option.
Like everyone said- The unit is well built, bright and pretty comfortable.Let's start by setting realistic expectations. In my opinion this does not replace a headlamp or a good flashlight- especially for outdoor work or really wide open spaces. I'm a flashlight junkie so I have at least 30 cree LED flashlights and headlamps. I have a headlamp in my EDC bag and a wide beam flashlight in there also. When my girlfriend comes to visit, I walk her dog late at night. I use headlamps when I take the walk since we don't have many street lights. I have a camping lantern and I would use that or a headlamp at the campsite. In my opinion this is best used inside the house, either to save electricity or when stumbling around at night. I stumbled on this when looking for a weapon light for my xd subcompact 40 cal. I bought a laser light combo that was really great but made for a full size pistol. The 40 cal is my in home go to weapon. This seemed like an interesting concept as opposed to another hundred dollar light/laser combo. It's also a pain finding a holster for an attached laser/light. I like sleeping with a shoulder holster rig, and like the idea of being fully prepared with all my tools instantly accessible, even in bed. My xd sub 9 mm is in the shoulder holster. This light allows me to have a weapon light on me at all times, regardless of which pistol I use. It's comfortable enough to sleep in and super convenient for those late night snack/bathroom runs. The light provides plenty of spread inside a room and even the lowest setting is plenty bright enough to illuminate everything around you. The power level indicator is really convenient also. Placing the beam does take some getting used to. It has a nice throw with a bright spot, but, you have to get your hand out of the way to avoid shadows. The band is comfortable and doesn't scratch at all. The light does get hot when used on high for a long time, that's why I wouldn't recommend it for outdoor or heavy duty use. The box says you get 4 hours of use on low power and about 1.5 hours on high use. I have no idea what the lumen rating on this is, but, I would guess around 250 to 300 lm on high. I was worried about accidental activation, but, the buttons require a good amount of force to depress so you won't kill the battery by accident under normal circumstances. I think it would travel well in a bag. This is a cheap streamlight knock off with zero drawbacks. The build quality and functionality is the same so save $150 to $500 if you don't expect this to be your go to flashlight. It's a great back up or secondary light. It's a perfect CQB weapon light, in my opinion. I have more serious lights on my long guns, but, this is perfect for my pistols. I've got red lasers on my pistols, and with this- I get the benefit of the combo at a fraction of the cost. For what is does, this is terrific. Keep your expectations reasonable- it's a $20 light. For that price point, this is a great buy and one every flashlight geek should pick up. It's $20 or less, well made, convenient and works. I hesitate to give it a five star rating only because I like it, I don't love it. I have 7x cree xml flashlight that is literally blinding and headlamps that have crazy wide and deep throws, so my expectations are bit skewed. That being said, I'm buying a couple more spare units and will probably give a couple away to friends and family. This is a no-brainer. Thanks to advances in led light tech, this is an automatic great buy.

Practical and useful flashlight
I was really intrigued by the fact that you can put on this flashlight like a watch. It is a bit heavy but you get used to it. The immediate use I envisioned for this item was camping. You can put it on and you don't have to use a hand to hold a flashlight. The light is really bright for a small item and you have the benefit of being able to charge the battery. I still don't know how long the battery lasts after so many charges. But so far so good.I am so impressed by this flashlight that I actually bought another one for my friend who likes to camp a lot. He found it really practical.I highly recommend it.

Great Light, band is a piece of junk
This light is very bright and different intensity levels including the flash is very good. The band is junk. Every time I went to strap it on I had to fumble to get the post into the holes as if they weren't drilled large enough. And when I did get it through the holes the post itself is a bit short and would come undone. When you pull the band to make it tighter the post because it is too short not only comes out of the holes but then slips behind the hasp. Every time I went to run I wasted 5 minutes trying to get this on my wrist. I finally cut the band off and slid some narrow strips of velcro underneath the anchor posts only to have one break off. Yeh - that really is a paperclip I slid through to use as a new post. It stays on fine now with the strips of velcro I put on. The light is great but the product of just ok. IMO if they had spent a few pennies more on the strap and hasp this would be a much better product.

Faulty wrist band buckle/short battery life/rubber cover to on/off switch pulled off.
The light brightness is great on this item. However, there is a very short battery life, helped by an ever present blinking green light that I suppose keeps you posted as to battery life. Problem is it drains the battery. I only use this light when I walk my dogs and have to pick up their messes so it probably burns a collective 3-5 minutes a day but by the end of a 7 day cycle the battery needs recharged. Finally, the wrist band buckle does not work. The stem/post on the buckle is too short so you never get the post anchored in the buckling process. It falls off my wrist constantly. I'm going to have to spend $10-$20 to replace the wrist band. On an item that cost $30. Tonight rubber cover to on/off switch pulled off as I was removing from pocket. It was in my pocket because wrist band does not latch.

Good, sturdy and practical.
Bought this as a gift to my 11-year old nephew on his birthday. He loves it. It's quite sturdy. It feels well built. All different light modes work well and the light is quite bright. Rechargeable battery by USB is an excellent idea. Light buttons are easily accessible. And what kid of 11-year old wouldn't love a light strapped to his wrist while playing a super hero. My nephew plans to use it when he's on a bike or a scooter around the neighborhood. I see other utilitarian usage as it would leave both hands free to operate tools in dark places.

GREAT protection from drifting drivers
I walk every morning at 5 AM. This light has been a huge asset since it is fully dark for my entire walk. Some drivers are still either still asleep, or texting or basically inattentive. Not only does this light provide a great way to see what's in front of me, it's a self-defense to shine it directly at a car that's drifting too close to my edge of the road. I found that I can get two one-hour walks out of it before charging, that's using the brightest setting. I have small wrists and at first was dismayed that it didn't fit snugly. But, actually the fit is perfect because the heavier part rests on the lateral side of my wrist. Perfect device and highly recommend it.

Perfect
I use this product for walking the dogs and picking up the poop. I changed the band out to an elastic one for personal preference. It gives you a warning when battery is getting low, charges back to full in just a few hours.

Impressively bright; Remember to charge
I bought this on a whim for my son, who was afraid of walking the dog in the evening (we live in a rural area). The LED is ridiculously bright with great reach. It's usually good for three outings of up to a half-hour each between charges. So long as you're in the habit of connecting it to charge during the day, it's all good. The little compass thingy is more a gimmick than useful... it seems to stick if not perfectly level. Minor nitpick. You buy this thing for the light. The other modes (flashing; something else) are not features we require. I do appreciate that the switch is smart enough to know that once it's turned on and you wait a second or two, the next press turns it off rather than cycling through the flashing modes.

Save your money
Worked for the first month and then when I went to charge again that was it. If I could give it no stars I would.

sucks
Yeah, it feels like garbage, the wrist back is terrible, It doesn't stretch so you have to un buckle it every time. The light feels like its going to fall out. The unit I received was dinged up, had no instructions, and items weren't in their spot in the box, so I got a returned item, Fantastic. Save your money and buy something else.
