which was a sweet aluminum Leader frame
I picked this frame set up because I cracked the bottom bracket shell on my daily ride, which was a sweet aluminum Leader frame. Although this frame is a good deal heavier than that feather wait racing frame, it's surprised me how much I've grown to love this frame. The geometry is fairly aggressive, you will probably be leaning pretty far forward. You should also note that the fork doesn't have a rake at all, it's just straight up straight, which also lends to the bikes aggressiveness. The weight is pretty middle of the road, I've ridden heavier frames, and I've ridden lighter frames. As far as cheap online fixies go, this bike will not disappoint.Pros:Cheap, for 90 dollars or so, this is a really good deal.Solid construction and quality welds. I take this thing down small stair sets and curbs at full speed all the time, and this thing has taken everything I can throw at it. I'm not a light person either mind you.Aggressive, easy to go fast.Versatile, I use this as my every day city speeder, but I also do a bit of freestyle nonsense on it, and I've even played bike polo on it before, though there are better options out there for that.Cons.On the heavy side. You need to get this frame built up by a shop, or at the very least someone who knows what they are doing. My frame had over-sprayed paint in the bottom bracket and the head tube, so the threads needed to be cleaned.Stupid Pure Fix sticker on the side you need to peel off or everyone will think you're a scrub. Good news is after you peel the sticker off, you'll get lots of compliments on your new bike.If you're looking for a cheap ride to whip around town and not worry too much about thrashing it, this is the one.

You get what you pay for
The package arrived quick and on time. However when I started opening it, I saw two huge scratches that dug deep into the chrome plating on the back part of the frame. It was wrapped in foam and bubble wrap but somehow it still got scratched. It couldn't have happened during shipping because the package is packed nicely and there is nothing in the box that moves around or could have bumped into it. There is also medium-light corrosion on the inside of the tubes where the seat post and the fork goes. Also, inside the tube where the fork is, there is a pretty jagged edge where they welded it together. You would need to file it down or take it to a professional bike shop for them to prepare it with their specialty tools. The frame is also pretty heavy. It's not as bad as a Walmart bike, but it is definitely not the best quality steel. I've been riding for a while and most weekend riders know that a quality steel frame is just as light as aluminum. If I had the money or time, I definitely would not buy this frame again, but it's an acceptable price for what you're getting.Update: A week after assembling my whole bike and riding. The frame is solid, but it is not really made for you to turn into a fixie. It seems that they took the blueprints for a track bike and made it heavier and drilled holes in it for brakes. I tried to install my front brakes, only to realized that they do not fit. You can attach them on, but the hole was either drilled too high or the cut out for the front axle is not deep enough. I've tried three different brakes from three different manufacturers; Shimano, SRAM, Decomp. No matter how you adjust it, you cannot adjust it enough so that the brake pads will reach the rim. It's not the rim either because I've swapped it between on my other bikes. The brake pad will be sitting halfway on your tire. Unless there are some super long brakes that I don't know about, you can't install front brakes unless you modify the fork. Since I didn't want to ride without a brake at all, I was forced to install a back brake. Having just the back brake is not very safe but it's better than none. The back brake also has very little clearance. You cannot have the axle anywhere other than halfway in the drop outs because the brake pads will also end up on the tire if it's too far back. If you put it anymore forward, your tire will rub against the rim. I have standard 700 wheels with a regular sized wheel and tube. This leaves you very little room to adjust your chain tension. Forget about having different size sprockets if you're riding on a flip flop hub unless you want to carry an extra chain. Again, this is because it is just a track frame that they modified to let you install brakes on, whether or not you can use them is a different story. The headset that I originally ordered also did not fit. You have to get very specific parts. The headset is hard to find. Out of the dozens at the bike shop I went to, only 1 would fit and I was forced to get one that did not match the color scheme of my bike. The bottom bracket is also somewhat hard to find. Origin 8 is the better of the two that I found to fit. I definitely do not recommend this frame unless you are trying to build a low quality track bike and not a fixie.

Great for posting to the UK market
I took the plunge and bought one of these for posting to the UK (Northern Ireland) and the full price came in at under £90, including P&P and import tax (which was a pleasantly surprising £13-Amazon did the work for this so I had to do nothing). It arrived in only a few days. When it comes to quality you get what you pay for- it's a little rough around the edges but all works fine. I got mine professionally painted and it came out lovely. And then made a fixie in a late 1890s style. The frame has exactly the same geometry as my commuter hybrid so it's all pretty standard stuff. The only complaint I have is that the headset that came with the frame is pretty poor quality so I bought another one (pretty cheap though). So, overall, this frame was a perfect choice for my first complete build and I would recommend the company and service. And don't worry about posting to the UK (unless import tax changes). Not sure about the warranty though.

Love this frame!
After beginning to purchase Pure Fix Cycles products, I wont but from anyone else; this frame is no exception. The color is true to the photo posted and it comes in various sizes which really helps out us jolly green giants! Many others have posted about receiving damaged products, but I have not run into that case with this frame or the white wheel set I purchased at the same time. It was shipped to me in 4 days with the free 7-day shipping. Could not be happier with the Pure Fix Cycles products!

S’aiight.
The paint chips –A LOT. Having a white bicycle is like having a white car : youre gonna have a bad time. Had to wipe this thing down so many times i stopped caring. The frame is true, which is nice but i needed to make adjustments to the rear so i could slide the weel in. You can do this with a lot of elbow grease and a proper hammer. Decent frame for the cost. After a year of having it, im stripping the paint and keeping it metal.

Good frame...
Good frame for a cheap build, but the pic shows eyelets for a rear rack, which my frame didn't have. Amazon shipping was fast.

It's just like Bianchi Celeste green
The frames were clearing out fast. I had my eye on the white, but after the last one sold i moved quickly on the "mint green". It's just like Bianchi Celeste green, but without the Bianchi price. I love this frame! Can't wait to get it on the road.

No Problems
No problems with the quality, was assembled with may new and used parts. I used a carbon fork from another State Fixed gear instead of the chromoly grey fork supplied. Sold the bike as a single speed to a youth..

Perfect Frame
The frame came packaged very nicely. Not a dent or scratch on it and I received it very fast. It's very clean and simple and great for anyone who's looking to build a bike. Great item for the price! Totally worth it. Plan to order more from Pure Fix Cycles to complete my new bike.
