Such a cute addition to our collection
I include a book in my kids’ Easter baskets every year, and this was my pick for our son’s first Easter. A cute story about a rock who doesn’t know she’s a rock. She thinks she’s an egg or a mountain or an island…Just really sweet and imaginative. Illustrations are darling.

Kids love Petra and so do we!
This is one of the magical children's books where the kids love reading it and so do my husband and I. Petra became my first kid's favorite book at around 6 months. 3.5 + years later I'm still happy to read Petra, which is now a favorite of my youngest kid (the older one still comes to hear too!)

Cute and ungendered
Cute story and I liked that it’s about an ungendered rock. Makes it suitable for any child!

Awkward
Awkward to read book. I don’t like the pages that don’t have words and the book is overall lame. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful book and very high quality.

It's a short book, but the lesson about adapting to change is a good one.
'Petra' by Marianna Coppo is a book filled with imagination and a main character that is a rock. In spite of this, the character has appeal. When we meet Petra, she is a mighty, immovable mountain. Nothing can shake her. Or can it?Things are not what they seem, and Petra has to learn that life can change things up on you. Petra imagines herself as an egg and an island. With her imagination and good attitude, she really won't be shaken.Petra is a good lesson for anyone experiencing change. What you thought could be, suddenly isn't, so you adapt. The illustrations are pretty cute too. I liked Petra's facial expressions, and I really loved the amount of imagination that this book had.I received a review copy of this ebook from Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books, and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.
