In this volume of Memories, we continue to follow the next generation: Yuki's children Ai and Ren by Kaname and Zero respectively, along with their dear friend Seiya, Aido and Yori's son.As war looms once again, the original Night Class alumni each decide whether or not they will take up their skills again to protect innocent humans. Zero unexpectedly bonds with Seiren over their common link through Zero's presumably long gone mentor Yagari, as he guides his daughter Ren through her tortured feelings regarding the climax of the last volume.However, the emotional highlight is a moment fans of the original series have probably been waiting for, as Kaname at last finally reunites with Ichijo - the best friend who had devotedly guarded his body during it's long sleep and was heavily implied to have been as much in love with him as Yuki - although Ichijo isn't quite ready to reveal his connection to Kaname yet. It begs the question: with Yuki and Zero now gone, is it possible that it's his turn for some time with Kaname, should Kaname join Aido in turning out to be bi?Memories continues to justify it's existence and sometimes turn out to be almost as much a page turner as the original series.

Am enjoying seeing what happened in all those years and it's getting good. Wish they were longer volumes, can't wait for the next one! Wish we get more of current kaname

I was so happy when I discovered there was another issue released. About as excited to learn that we were given a look into what happened after the series had stopped. It's SO HARD knowing Yuki and Zero are dead. I wanted a better life for them. I wanted the perfect happy ending so it's hard reading through knowing what becomes of them. I still look forward to the next book. It's weird a bit it's kind of like being tossed into a story you didn't know anything about and you get clumps of it. I am excited for more to come and I hope I get to see Zero's love for Yuki more!
