Too thin
They're way thinner than what is shown in the pictures. Other than that they're fulfilling their duty as towels!

Forced to give one star because cannot give any thing less than that
These were used towels, I could clear see it. I thought they were brand new. I am forced to one give star as I cannot give anything less than that. Looks like are repackaging old towels which are thrown from hotels and selling it online. Really disappointed. I would say, stay away!

Great bath towels for a great price
I have owned bamboo blended bath towels before and was looking to buy more for the house. I own a Pizon brand towel here for over 3 years and am extremely satisfied with it, however, they don't sell that kind anymore. So I came across this one and gave it a try. While it is not as thick or as large as my Pizon brand, it does a fantastic job and am very pleased with the product. They do an excellent job of absorbing the water, they are very soft, and are a little heavier than normal towels (not as heavy as my Pizon), but I kind of like that.I have a couple of recommendations for using these towels:First, you have to wash in cold water and dry them on low before you use them. These towels have a lot of lint and the dryer will catch it in the lint trapSecond, after the initial wash I don't dry them in the dryer any longer, but hang dry them.Third, do not use any type of fabric softener (in the washer or dryer) because it breaks down the fabric which will cause them to fall apart prematurely.UPDATE, 09MAY15: It has been almost a year since I have purchased them and I am still very satisfied with them. I have been taking care of them as I have stated above and there has been no sign of wear or falling apart and are still soft and absorbent. There are a couple of threads that stick out from the seam, but nothing that will unravel.Attached is a picture taken May 9th, 2015 almost a year from purchase. The rest look the same. here

Best Towel I've ever owned - I'm hooked for life.
I came to the realization that little luxuries can provide great enjoyment in life. I've purchased a wide range of towels trying to find one that stands out from the rest. Testing products is one of my little luxuries, and when successful, I get to enjoy the results of my research for a long time.I've tried heavy cotton towels, they feel nice to the touch, but I found when I actually use them, they don't "drape" well (too thick) and weirdly enough don't seem to absorb water well. A lighter towel seems to work better for it's purpose, drying oneself. However, I discovered they quickly begin to feel abrasive. Ok, perhaps abrasive is invigorating and I was thinking this was the best it got.I had purchased some bamboo clothing and been very happy with it, so I thought I'd see if this material was available in towels. I really didn't know what to expect, I just knew my other bamboo fabrics were nice. These towels are not cheap and are not as big as my previous cotton towels, but they are not expensive either so I thought I'd try them. Per comments the first thing I did was wash and dry them. Yes, they put off a lot of lint. On the good side, they sure felt soft and I wondered if the smaller towel would provide enough drying power. What a surprise I got. Not only are these towels far softer than any others, they absorb water VERY well, and drape excellently. Even better, they don't seem to pick up "stink" or become abrasive as they are used. Over the past month I've come to appreciate these more and more. How long will they last? I have no idea but I can see, I'll be enjoying them during their entire lifespan, and buying new ones after that.I thought the smaller size was going to be a problem, but I discovered that they work very well to dry myself off and I don't really need a big towel as don't wear a towel wrapped around my waist so that turned out to be a non issue. Are these good because they have Turkish Cotton? Or Bamboo? Is the ratio of Bamboo important? I suppose I could extend my studies further, but for now, I'm totally happy to accept that these are REALLY REALLY good and will enjoy them as long as I can.

Nice feel. But these are not luxury thick towels.
Overall the Chakir bamboo towels are nice. But they are not quite luxury thick as stated in the description. The towels are much softer than most full cotton varieties. The Chakir towels have a silky feel, but absorb well. I’ve used this brand for years and are generally quite durable without any unraveling. One drawback is that the bamboo component doesn’t seem too compatible with fabric softeners...the fabric softener seems to clog the fibers. If the towels were 2x as thick I’d give it 5 stars. The towels are still a great deal.

Best darned towels I have ever owned!
Best darn towels I have ever owned (and I am close to 70), these 26 inch by 56 inch white towels are all you could ever want in a towel. Very soft, highly absorbent, and reasonably heavy (but not too heavy), these towels really are the top of the class. I followed one of the other reviewer's advice and washed them in cold water with no fabric softener, and I dried them on low heat. There really wasn't much lint in my dryer lint catcher, and the towels came out really soft and fluffy. If you want the best WHITE towel on the market, these are it. (Unfortunately they do not come in other colors as my wife found out when she went to buy a set in the color green.) The workmanship and material are top notch, trust me, these really do rate 5 stars (as almost every other reviewer has given them!).
