After using other hair stoppers, I found this one to be the best. It fits in the drain so it doesn’t sit on top and it catches all the hair based on how it’s designed and fits. Packaging says, you can clean after a couple showers, which is nice since other stoppers tend to back up the water, if too much hair accumulates. To clean, you just lift and pull hair off and drop back in drain. Worked so well, I bought one for my mom’s shower drain.

Extremely simple product but well thought out well made. Priced fairly for what it is. It keeps hair out of your drain and does a great job at it.Our drain clogs have disappeared. 10/10 Would highly recommend.

I won't take a shower without a tub shroom! These have saved me hours of headache over the years. I no longer have to constantly get those plastic drain cleaners to pull hair out of the drain every shower or 2!My ONLY complaint (hence 4 stars) is I have to buy a new one every 4-5 months due to it getting mold embedded in the plastic. I got the Tub shroom ULTRA that is stainless steel and have not had any issue with mold (5 stars!)I do prefer this style one as far as fit though. I like that it essentially is FLAT.. so even if I stepped where the drain was it did not make a difference nor did I feel it (the ultra is rounded top). I also like how it stayed in my drain - the ultra, even with smallest adapter on, can occasionally pop out of my drain and I have to reset it in there. Not a huge issue.

The TubShroom is a great product! It fits into the drain opening and collects the hair, to prevent the drain from getting clogged! Water flows down the drain, hair does not, and the water doesn't pool up, due to hair clogging the drain! The hair is easy to remove from the TubShroom. The TubShroom is flexible, and does not hurt if you step on it.

This tub mushroom is great at catching my hair. I can't believe how many years I went without one (sorry drain)! It's incredibly easy to use and the hair pulls right off after your shower. I leave mine to dry on the edge of the tub until my next shower. I will say that no matter how often I clean mine I find it eventually (after many many months) starts growing mold/mildew. I just buy a new one at that point and start over. So happy to have an affordable and effective solution to prevent hair from clogging the drain.

I bought this product about 6 months back and finally need to add my reveiw, as not many reviews on here mention the mold issue. I bought the silicone tub shroom in grey for both our upstairs and downstairs shower/tub combos. Upstairs tub is fiberglass, downstairs tub porcelain cast iron tub. The reviews were great and so I bought two at the same time. Yes, they are amazing at catching hair (three long haired gals in the house) buuuuuut the one thing that I don’t understand is the mold that seems to be permanent on the bottom of the shroom. I clean regularly and thoroughly. I don’t have the luxury of hiring a cleaning lady, and my bathrooms get a thorough clean every two weeks and picks ups in between. We are a household of 5 (2A and 3children) and the showers are used daily by myself and my husband and a couple more times a week by our children.The black mold on the bottom of these things is AWFUL. It won’t come off. Not with vinegar, not with bleach (I thought bleach got rid of most things!), not with scrubbing bubbles, Lysol, the pink stuff, nor the horrid mold and mildew cleaner I brought up from the basement as a last resort. It won’t scrub off, peel off, sand off, soak off.The design is incredibly efficient and the material (silicone) is probably part of its genius. But the mold is making me rethink keeping them. Mold is dangerous and unhealthy. My plan is to try the stainless (it was my first choice but there’s always the budget to keep me double guessing the more costly choice!) in a little bit and see if mold grows on those as well. My thoughts are it would be much easier to clean. Amazing at catching hair but the mold is horrendous. Im flabbergasted as to why others don’t also get this? Would love to be clued in!

This product works well. It catches a lot of hair and still allows the water to drain normally. The only problem I had was that it can be a bit difficult to clean. I have not found anything that works as well.

Little gizmo, good price point, exactly as described, easy to use, easy to clean, grabs all the hair in the tub drain. No more plucking at slimy clumps with a knitting needle while doubled over in the tub! Only wish i knew about this years ago.
