Well. This review is a little harder to write. I bought it during the Winter and couldn't figure out why I had to keep seasoning it over and over again. Then I found info online about Winter and humidors. Seems that this is the norm for this time of year and it's better to begin seasoning around Spring or Summer when the air is more humid. So after much ado, I finally got it done and also put the Caliber 4R IV Gold Bezel Digital Hygrometer in the lid, AND added a packet or 2 of Boveda 72% RH 2-Way Humidity Control packets. Bingo, perfect humidity now and it lasts for about 2-3 months, depending on the season, but that's fine with me. Wait. Sure it's fine with me, but it was for a gift. Oh yes, they LOVED it and it was staying at my house for use here when they were here. You know how relationships go sometimes. Let's say it went up in smoke. He's gone, I still have the Humidor, sheesh. It's ok, I'm caring for it, and the cigars, and will pass it on to an old buddy that would love it.
