Alumicolor 12-inch Non Slip Standard Aluminum T-Square for Art Framing & Drafting, Silver

It's super long but sturdy. It covers my very large drafting table and stays in place with it's cork underside. My table is glass and I needed a Tee that wouldn'd slide down the table when it's at a steep incline. This is it!

Sturdy and affordable.

One of the staples holding the cardboard sleeve in place had been pulled apart, and the plastic sleeve was half way off. It appeared to have been examined and returned. The t-square wasn't square, failing for the purpose it was made. It was off by more than 1/16 inch along the 12 inch length. Not only useless but also a waste of my time to have to drive to Kohl's to return it.

This didn’t work for the stained glass I wanted to measure but is nice with the nonslip backing and will be used later.

Like many other reviews my square was not square. I figured it was 50/50 chance of getting a good one if I returned it so I decided it was easier and quicker to just fix the one I have.It was actually very easy. The alum. part of the square is held to the plastic part with counter sunk screws, so it's not possible to adjust it. All you need to do is replace the counter sunk screws with a cap screw. There in enough play in the holes through the alum to have a little bit of adjustment. When the square was assembled the screws squeezed some plastic out of their holes into the holes of the alum, so those raised areas need to be filed down., then just put it together with the cap screws using.Being a pack rat, I had the perfect kind of screws I needed. If I had to buy the screws I may have return the square just on principle.

I bought this ruler thinking it was a good deal only to find out that it was made cheap and very uneven. So annoying and absolutely unprofessional. I am an art student and depend on tools to be top quality, especially when I spend money on them. Do NOT waste your money on this product, It is not worth it.

The back piece is so large that it loses something in precision cutting. The is a 7mm difference from the black handle to the padded ruler but most mats are not that large. the only way this is going to be really effective is off the edge of a flat sided desk to tabletop.

The T part is too big and thick and unless you lay it off the edge of the desk/table, it will not lie flat and makes it practically impossible to use without being at the edge of your workspace.I dont Know why I didnt return this item, just didn’t get to it, I guess.
