Kodiak 6014 Cotton Duck Canvas 10 X 14 Ft. 8-Person Flex-Bow Deluxe Tent

We have had the 10’ x 10’ for years. Very durable. Pretty roomy but decided to upgrade to the 14’ x 10’ this year and what a difference. Real comfortable for two guys, cots, and gear. Love it.

This is a great, well thought-out heavy duty tent.

I have used this tent for hunting and family camping trips at our Flagstaff property (8200 ft elevation). All 4 seasons tent. I really wish it had a flashing for a lil wood stove to make it a true 4 season tent. But I use the lil buddy heater for hunting and it warms right up at 10 degrees and 3:30 am. Fits military cots well for 2, and I use the disco bed bunk bed stack for the kids. Great all around tent. I sealed the seams with silicon spray and it has endured blizzards after snowshoeing trips. I bought this in lieu of a tow behind trailer and have loved it. Less stress and no storage issues.

The Kodiak purchase for me was a hard one. It was between this and the Springbar. Ultimately happy with my choice. Craftsmanship was top notch, no sloppy seams or short comings. The only place I feel the springbar has an edge is the staking points. Springbar has a nylon rope stitched inside the floor to wall seam that the stake hooks wrap around. The kodiak have a doubled up piece of nylon that loops the metal rings. Still good, but I think the Springbar is superior. Having the extra door in the backside is an upgrade though. My family of 5 has been on a few camps now, and I would make the same purchase again.

Bought this to replace the same. The previous one after many years going out to the desert and to the woods has finally become brittle.But it’s been repaired. I just wanted a new one!You have to look after it carefully, keep it clean, never put away wet, and folded properly it’ll last for years!
