I'm also on medication for my arthritis, and my GP indicated that may also be helping with my psoriasis management, but using this has definitely contributed to the healing process. I use it primarily on my scalp and around my ears 1-3 times a day, depending on the severity of my psoriasis.It is greasy, this is an ointment not a cream. (I've used the MG217 cream and I like it, but it didn't do as much to heal my psoriasis, just manage it.) When I first started using it, I did have days where I put so much in my hair it was greasy and hard to wash out, but most of the time - if I am careful to get it on my scalp and don't use too much - it isn't uncomfortably greasy and it's easy enough to wash out.It does have an unpleasant smell as well, but it's not strong enough to be an issue for me, personally. If you've used tar shampoo with no problem, you're not going to have an issue with this. I don't really acknowledge the scent. I'm not generally sensitive to smells, but I'm not immune to them either, and this was fine.

Very good stuff to use in combination with your lighter moisturizers. Definitely helps with dedicated use and stays moist all day.Unfortunately, because it contains coal tar, it smells like coal tar as well. And on top of that pets, whether cat or dog, will try to lick it off you.All that said, I swear by this stuff.

This works great for my husbands psoriasis. He has tried many different prescription medications and this works the best.

I use this product daily after bath.. Just the necessary amount. Let it absorb and apply humectant cream.

I am so disappointed with this seller and I will nolonger buy their products on Amazon. I wish I could have given 0 star. I bought this product on Amazon I wish they had put in the description how horrible this product smells. The product smells like gasoline, gasoline and this is no joke. I have been trying to return the product with no luck. ( if you stand by your product you should accept customers returns) shame on Lava Vitality. I feel like I got ripped off. This product smells horrible, you cannot possibly use it and go out in public. No one would want to get close to you. Lava Vitality, I would love for you to resolve this matter.
