I really hate those typical style plugs that drop into the drain pipe and connect via a lever to the pull at the faucet; they let stuff fall through, and when they break, they take some futzing to fix. THIS, on the other hand, is pretty genius! It just drops in and is a spring-loaded push to open or close the drain! So easy!Sealing is done with a silicone gasket, and the unit comes with a few different sizes, so it might take some trial and error to figure which one works best with your drain size. There’s an upper gasket which stays in place, and it’s the lower one which is changeable; there were no directions about this as I recall.Anyway, once you figure it out and fit the gasket which gives the best seal, it’s a gem. It holds water imperfectly— i.e. it does leak down— but it holds as well as the original, old school type bathrom sink plug it replaced, so no complaints there.The cool thing is that there’s a cage design below the stopper, so it catches stuff which falls in, rather than letting it drop through the drain. This is so easy to lift out and clean; much easier and faster than one of those drain pipe elbow traps.Materials quality seems good; spring has good tension, but is also adustable, so it strikes me as a smart and solid design.How long it will last is an unknown, particularly the silicone gaskets. My guess is that they will last for many years, and for as inexpensive and easy to fit as these are, they represent a very good value and an upgrade from the standard plug. Recommended!

Easy to install. Works well and seems to be solidly made. Came with 3 or 4 gaskets for the right size fit. Based on several other reviews, I checked it open and closed. Open - it drained fine. Only slightly slower than a regular stopper. Drained the whole sink in less than 20 seconds. Closed - I detected no drainage after an hour. Very please. Wished the instructions were with words rather than just pictures but still really easy to install. After buying one to see if it worked, and it did. I bought three more. They worked well too with same results on tests. Much better than the ones that came with our home. Only drawback - made in the PRC. But they work well.

Looks cool and easy to install but I have a pool of water and really can't use it while showering. I did clean it out of hair, but still there is a bit of water pooling up. I'm going to keep it for the aesthetics and if someone wanted to take bath, but it could do better at draining honestly. Still, cheap and easy to install.

This works well and looks so much better than the old stopper. I was concerned that it would drain too slowly, but it drains well. Nice update. Just make sure you use the correct,(one), rubber gasket for your sink.

The lover to my old sink stopper was no longer working and so I disconnected it and simply dropped this into the hole and it works wonderful. And it actually covered up the old metal plate that was starting to show a little bit of rust or discoloration. I love that this absolutely took no tools. Much better than getting under the sink and trying to work in a small area to reconnect a new stopper underneath the sink. This design is brilliant.

The opening on this is much too small, leading to excessively long drain times allowing other artifacts in the water to cling to the sides or get stuck in the bottom of the sink. For example, when brushing teeth or hand washing, the bubbles don't drain fast enough to be sucked down with the water. You are left with bubbles and toothpaste in the bottom of the sink and have to rinse and shut off the water a few times to clean out which wastes water.Not sure why the opening is so small compared to the drain opening.

I don’t really like to leave reviews unless I feel it. My drain plug was done abs the expense to fix it was a whole deal and it wasn’t quick. This was definitely a quick fix and fit right into my sink like it belonged there! Didn’t clog and it works great. Buy this, you won’t be disappointed.

Very, very nice product. Even before I received it, the company sent me an email discussing how to install, how to measure, etc. Then the sink stopper arrived. It was superbly packaged in a small box. I simply took it out of the box, slipped one of the three different sized plastic washers on, and placed it in my sink, and !voila! it works, looks fantastic, and I love it! Thanks for making such a simple but elegant stopper available to us.

This stopper works very well. Very easy to install.

I love the concept of this pop-up drain, however, it was too big to fit in our sink. When we measured it, the size is bigger than it states. The description states that it fits a 1.1 -1.8. We measured it and it measures 1.28. Our sink is 1.1 so it won’t work.

We've tried many of this type of thing and this is, by far, the best. It's very well made and looks great in our bathroom sink. It catches hair, but you're not having to constantly clean it (even though it's very easy to clean). Highly recommend.
