I loved how relatable this journey of loss and love was. The ease of reading it, the visually stunning wordscaped places, somehow wrapped in a calm but intense story; if read in order. It’s beautiful in order, but can be read as singular poems, moments told like a photograph in the writer’s life.

Found this author on Instagram and instantly gravitated towards his style. After reading Venus, I have to say this is one of my top poetry book recommendations; the voice, the meter, the use of alliteration and poetic devices, not to mention the IMAGERY. It felt like floating on a cloud in the sky, so seamless and soft. Venus is a must buy for people who appreciate poems with depth and substance. I can’t recommend it enough ✨

Every time I read these poems I feel like they are taking me to a different planet! It so deep, complex and out of this world!Author really put his soul into every page of this book!If you are looking for a refreshing, new poetry I highly recommend to check it out!
