An effective and pleasant way way to cut back your alcohol intake
I've been drinking Sentia Red for several months now. It took some getting used to as I wasn't sure about the taste at first. Previously, I used to drink wine every day. Not a lot, typically just one glass to relax at the end of a long work day. It was a daily pleasure. When I went for a health check-up, my GP said that I was in good health but I should try to give my liver a rest by having three non-alcohol days a week. So I started drinking Sentia. It definitely needs a mixer. I experimented with lots of different ones. I think the mixers that are orangy and spicey taste best with it. It also tastes good mixed with some ready made canned mocktails although some are a little sweet for my tastes. I add ice and sometime pomegranate seeds. I now really enjoy my Sentia cocktails on my non-alcohol days. It is very calming as a drink. I always use Sentia Red as Sentia Black peps you up rather than relaxes you. I've tried other drinks that are designed to have a calming effect but none of them work for me as well as Sentia. I am really happy that I discovered Sentia.

Not bad but..
Why does this product smell like Lavender incense? I wouldn't eat that so everytime I took a sip, I felt uncomfortable. I'm not sure I'll finish the bottle. It's not bad but in terms of taste, smell and texture it's not the alcohol substitute that it's made out to be. Most alcohol - from wine to spirits are easy to drink and feel like you're drinking water. The word that applies here is smooth.Sentia Red is more juice than wine and not the refined taste of juice sold in a supermarket but rather the taste of vegetables which have been run through a juicer in your kitchen. The consistency is thick. It takes some getting used to as well. Have you ever sat down to have a drink and needed time to get used to it? Lol. The reason why alcohol is so addictive is because it takes no effort to put the stuff away. If something that's meant to give pleasure requires effort or thought - the pleasure you get from doing it is diminished. As an alcohol substitute, the concept is really good, hats off to the manufacturer, we could use more products like this on the market but the smell of lavender incense, everytime you take a sip is off putting. Alcohol will kill you in the long run but this drink is an unknown quantity, it feels like it could kill you sooner and the buzz is minimal. For £32 a bottle, this could be alot better.

I’m addicted!
Definitely an unusual taste, completely different from anything else I’ve ever tried. My first sip of this with tonic was quite a surprise, a bit like adjusting to one of those sour sherbet sweets! But it didn’t take long for me to decide I love it. I definitely get the ‘buzz’. I would say it’s a ‘relax in front of the Tv’ buzz, not a replacement for crying laughing with your friends or dancing all night alcohol buzz. I have since tried the black which I also like and the taste reminds me of dandelion and burdock when mixed with coke. My only negative (apart from the very high price) is the label states that the product contains liquorice and that people with hypertension should avoid excessive consumption. I don’t think this information is clearly stated before purchase. Will definitely not be able to resist buying more though.

Surprisingly Unimpressed
1. A case of style over substance. You need a large measure at least if you want to "feel" anything. Even then the "feel" is quite non descript. I'm not saying I didn't feel a bit relaxed - I did - but it was definitely only a bit, nothing more, from a double measure2. The taste is ... slightly bitter....and surely they could have made it actually taste good3. It's too expensive to buy regularly even if you like it, but I guess the brand is relying on people thinking, *oh this sounds different, I'll give it a go " as I'm curious how many people re-buy it

Mellow and light feeling.
It actually creates a relaxing feeling. After a stressful day it helps you unwind and easily forget any negativity.Definitely need the maximum recommended daily amountNo good for alcohol drinkers as it’s subtle, not like getting drunk. It’s an acquired flavour. Reminds me of mulled wine .

Delicious & grown up!
I was offered this at a friend’s house as I was on prescription pain med and couldn’t mix with alcohol. Really loved it! If you like Campari, you’ll like this. I had it mixed with lime soda and a slice of orange. Definitely felt relaxed and didn’t miss the alcohol. Also, it tastes like a ‘grown-up’ drink which is what I miss when drinking non alcohol/squash in a social setting usually. Liked it so much I bought some and a selection of nice flavoured soda’s to go with it. Recommend.
