Better than expected power cord
I was looking for a better power cord with improved shielding and connectors to replace stock cable came with VPI SDS. I have read Pangea Audio cable reviews from Audio Advisor and would like to give it a try. Selected this newer version which come with better copper and connector housing. Cable is on the stiff side similar to Audioquest NRG-4 that is currently used between VPI SDS and the turntable, but not as hard as the Audioquest counterpart, which is not easy to get around. It is well built with good quality feel. Since I have matching and well broken-in power cables for all other equipments, I don't plan to use this one on sources, pre and power amp so cannot comment on its sound improvement (Audio Advisor site has many detail feedbacks of its sound); The combination of this cable, VPI SDS, AQ NRG-4 and VPI turntable produces consistently low noise floor to the vinyl playback;

Very impressive improvement!
Using this with a Cambridge streamer. This definitely isn’t voodoo. I noticed the immediate tightening of bass others have reported, but more importantly, a blossoming of the soundstage with more “air” around voices and instruments. I played this with music I’ve listened to for many years and am Intimately familiar with. Everything just sounded “bigger” and better. I heartily recommend this cord!

As good as it gets
I preferred these cables over Audioquest and Shunyata for line-level equipment. Simply it uses great Cardas copper. It also has among the most effective shielding. I have high-end systems with Focal Kanta speakers.Although I prefer Audioquest Carbon HDMI and USB digital cables, I prefer these Pangea power cables. Note the less expensive Pangea are not as clean sounding.

What a scam!
This reminds me of the 80's scam when a wall clock was being sold in high end audio salons. The manufacturer claimed it would improve the sound of your audio equipment. A clock! Back to the latest scam.What they are telling you is that Bryston, Audio Research, McIntosh, Mark Levinson, Clear Audio and tons of other manufactures don't know how to design a power cable! Really?So you think by changing the power cord that is 1 or 1.5 meter long will improve your system. How about the circuit that you plug this magic cable into? Depending on your house it may run 100 - 300 feet or more to get back to the circuit breaker panel. To truly enhance the sound wouldn't you need to rewire that entire circuit? Not only the wire but how about shielding that entire run? And would a common circuit break be sufficient? Surely the next big "enhancement" will be audiophile circuit breakers!Want to make a massive improvement to your sound system: speakers. Go out and audition and hopefully purchase some new or used speakers. I would love to find a pair of restored KEF 105.4’s or Acoustat 2+2’s!If you believe that the speakers you own are the awesome, then the next items to consider are the electronics. Integrated amp, power amp and preamplifier. Have fun...

Probably the most neutral of the Pangea power cables
The AC14 is the brightest of the bunch, the AC14 SE is warmest with an open soundstage, and the AC14 XL is the most neutral and clear with good imaging.
