Slightly hard but feels tough for a heavy door works well been few weeks I have installed in a commercial place

I will get the negatives out on the product first then will continue to the positives.Cons:1. Really horrible packaging twice even with the replacement.2. The screws included to mount the door closer tend to loose their heads they get easily shaved off if you use power tools to install them.3. Instructions could have been a bit clear as the carpenter might understand them but a normal person should definitely look for other video or a bit clearer Instructions to get it installed.PROS:1. Quality of the product is good except the screws as mentioned earlier.2. Does its job as mentioned and very smooth operation if installed correctly.3. Value for money considering it is from Yale.Considering the pros and cons seller or the company should definitely improve their packaging, quality and spare parts, wont be mentioning about the service or warranty details as they will get time to be updated based on the usage.

You have to apply lot of force to open the door.The door closer is not good.

Item got with out pulling, pushing arms. It appears that packager forgot to put back arms, both arms in boxI just opened found main body, screws ets all ok but without both arms. It should have been checked by other person before sealing box, sending.
