I was torn over the rooftop bag vs. box option, but I had nothing to worry about. In terms of money spent against value returned, this is the best purchase I’ve made.The Key factors: Loads of space. We fit three large size suitcases alongside other items and still had room to spare. In terms of storage capacity this will far exceed anything that a rooftop box can get close too. Great for a large family.The Installation was super easy and quick.I then drove 8 hours through pouring rain and stormy winds and it remained completely secure. No movement, no sound, and completely waterproof. This through the most testing conditions imaginable.I also had the benefit of comparing my rooftop bag with my neighbour who was packing his rooftop BOX. Absolutely No comparison. The bag wins on every single factor you could possibly wish to considerI cannot recommend this highly enough for the price. A Brilliant purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  Main thing to note is that it’s a soft bag and not a hard shell like the picture might suggest.This straps on both by roof bars and can clip onto the car frame it’s self making this suitable for a lot of cars.Mine was clipped to the car and zero issues as far as staying attached. I’ve done 3 holidays so far and hundreds of miles just fine.Takes bit of time to setup but worth it and Zips up ok. Bargain price

This is perfect for our car. It stores a lot which leaves plenty more space in your car if you are out on your holidays.I did find that when it rain's hard it can let in water in slightly.It is easy to set up and is very sturdy. I recommend this product

I was concerned how this would work out as I hadn’t seen many about. Once you get the hang of putting it on your car , load it evenly with light weight bulkier items. I did a trip back and forth of over 400 miles and it never moved. Tighten up ‘ guy ropes’ loosely at first , one at a time, then go back and tighten again. Did the job I wanted it for perfectly. Will only know longevity after a few years, but seems well enough made, seems to be made of a wet suit type material. It’s not got wet either me yet.

We bought this to save having to cram everything in the car round the kids when we went on holiday. It was this, or take two cars, and this was cheaper!First of all, it's huge. I got clothes for a week for 6 of us in there, plus blankets, shoes, big coats, and other random stuff, and still had loads of space left.After a 5 hour drive, mainly on the motorway, it hadn't moved. Not a single millimetre.During that 5 hour drive, what felt like 6 months rainfall fell on us. Mostly in massively heavy squalls that appeared from nowhere, deposited a small lake on top of us, and vanished. Not a drop of that rain entered the bag, and the items inside were bone dry. The same happened on the way home, and, again, no rain got in.It's never ever going to fit back inside the bag it came in, but thats OK, it fits on top of the wardrobe as is.The cons are:- fitting it first time was awkward and the instructions are rubbish. The straps are difficult to tighten until you get the hang of it. And make sure you tie the ends up as they make a very irritating noise if they work their way loose.On the way home, it lifted ever so slightly at the very front, and became an extra, unwanted brake. A rearrangement of the items inside slightly stopped that though.It's huge. Which meant that when the kids wanted souvenirs, I didn't have the excuse "no, it won't fit in the car" so we now own more large soft toys than is ideal.

It was easy to attach to the car and I could fit loads in it,I had 4 suitcases and other things and still had lots off room to spare.Downside was when we were going on holiday it rained while we were driving and inside was wet,luckily nothing was damaged

We had used this bag so many times from our long journey down from the Highlands to the Midlands and it has been through thunder and snow. Very easy to set up and enough room to fit enough things in for a family of 5 in for 2 weeks. It is very sturdy with holding on with gale force winds.

I Was a bit apprehensive about buying this but needed it for 1 journey instead of going down the expensive route of roof rack and box. Happy to say it did the job. Travelled about 5 hours on motorway. The only thing I’d say is when you pull the straps tight we put the extra length through the door and after about 3 hours of rain they started dripping water in the car. The stuff in the bag were bone dry so it was definitely waterproof. On the way back we rapped the straps round each other, they were a bit flappy and noisy but not to bad. All in allI was quite impressed.
