Perfect size, versatile, lightweight, protective and attractive
Love, love, love this! I use it every time I travel (plane, train or automobile). It's Swiss Army brand quality and offers enough protection for my laptop, extra travel monitor, headphones, mouse, cables plus things you don't want to check (jewelry, medicine, valuables), sunglasses and travel essentials (wet wipes, tissues, screen cleaners) and blanket/sleep socks for plane. Two perfect outside stretchy pockets for bottled beverages, plus I snap my neck pillow to loops on outside. My daughter adopted my first one, so I bought myself another one exactly the same - light grey. Absolute perfection - never travel without it.

Comfortable, light, zippers feel flimsy
This replaces a 15-year-old High Sierra backpack, which wore like iron despite regular beating-ups. I use it as an airline personal item 3-4 times a year and as my mobile office probably 20 times a year, for 3 to 10 days at a time. The only reason I chose this over the High Sierra is the logo style--the HIgh Sierra's logo is huge and not very professional looking, and I use the bag for work events, where it needs to look grown-up.This pack is lighter than the High Sierra, with more comfortable straps. The laptop compartment easily fits my MacBook Pro and I love the Velcro strap that holds it secure. Lots of room for stuff inside, with several pockets for organizing. I could easily fit 2-3 days of clothes in here, plus a laptop, tablet, wallet, etc. It doesn't feel as sturdy overall as my old High Sierra and the zippers definitely feel less quality, so we'll see how it wears over time. So far, it's done several outings as my mobile office and has performed well with laptop, tablet, phone, Airpods, several books and notebooks, pens/pencils, and a load of chargers.I wish the very outside (smallest) pocket had a closure of some kind--a zip or snap or Velcro or something. It's open and makes me nervous so I don't use it. Otherwise, this is very well designed and easy to organize. Here's hoping it lasts a long time.

Good for Traveling
The bag is lightweight and has a bounty of storage. Sometimes, having too many pockets though, can be detrimental for finding things. It does need a metal key ring clip to keep you car keys on while you are traveling. The plastic one provided is weak and I almost broke it the first day.The bag provided good soft protection for your laptop, but does not have the better hard-sided suspension storage pocket. The zippers are ok, but not great. They need to be bigger and close easier. The pulls are good and comfortable. The straps are comfortable on my shoulders and easy to get on and off. They are easy to adjust and are big enough for larger folks.Overall a good value for the money, but not really built for a road-warrior.

Work Laptop Backpack That Doesn't Make You Look Like a Hobo
After trying out 3 other "laptop" backpacks, I have settled on this SwissGear laptop backpack. It fits my 16 inch work laptop perfectly, and I still look professional at work. The size of the backpack is just right. It's small and easy to handle. I only need it to carry work material: laptop, 1 paper notebook, 2 pens, business cards, and keys. It doesn't balloon out with huge unused space for clothes, toiletry, and water bottles, which makes me look like a vagrant at work. It secures and cushions my laptop so that it doesn't flop around and annoyingly hit me in the back every time I take a step unlike 1 of my prior "laptop" backpacks. This backpack will suit everyday work in the office.

Bad Backpack, Small and Challenging, Broke within a Week of Returning to school
I bought it after my backpack of 8 years of school finally started to fall apart, and I was very disappointed to say the least. The pack is very small and it was a challenge to fit everything inside that I needed for classes. It was always a challenge to get my computer out of the slot as it is a little long for a laptop, but still not overly large (15 inch). But my biggest grip with this bag is the quality. I got back from spring break and it was great for a week, but that Saturday it broke right at the place where the strap connects the larger bag. I don't know if the threads popped or tore, I don't know exactly. But I would not recommend buying this backpack. I sent it back to Amazon without and problems and instead invested in a Roark Passenger 27L, which has been working great for going on past 2 weeks now.
