You can in mode 3 one arm at a time. Works better in mode 5 if your able to suspend the pulleys wide enough. If pulleys are suspended not much wider than shoulder width it’s more shoulder than pec.

Q: Max weight? I would like to atleast pull down 180

That was one of the questions asked. here is the response. "After actual testing, you can use a weight of 50 kg (about 110 pounds) in the pulley system exercise. Note that 110 LBS is already very heavy for biceps and triceps exercises. It is meaningless to talk about weight-bearing without exercising. If it is just a simple lifting of heavy objects, the wire rope can withstand 1000 kg (about 2,000 pounds) heavy objects, but this weight is meaningless for fitness. Because you don't use that much weight at all, it can fully satisfy your normal exercise(50-300 pounds). "
