Very high quality product
Thing is awesome. Has some angular design not sharp though. I love this device, its well rounded in tech performance but the usbc cord attached is not great, not bad but a little thin. I use it for mobile use with multiple iems and sometimes at my desk with a mac. Overall I would recommend

Decided improvement over stock phone adapter!
Had good experience with a Fosi integrated amp so decided on this model. Decidedly better sounding than stock Apple DAC/Adapter. Improved focus in midrange, better dynamics and more foundational weight using Shure se535 IEMs. Call me a happy camper for $80!

Decent for the price but not amazing
Decent for the price. Good power, but a bit muddied across the board. Definitely tuned for bass heavy music. Great if you like heavy EDM music and the like. It doesn't have it's own battery and pulls from your phone, not a lot but might be an issue if you have a phone with a dying battery.

Fosi
Some tracks sound more like instruments compared to a reproduction of sound.

not worth it
Not so impressive improvement in sound quality, cannot tell the difference from a much cheaper DAC cable/dongle. or even listening directly without it.

IOS is Supported But cable matters
I ordered what I thought was the right lightning to usb-c cable at the same time I ordered this DAC. But I was mistaken on the cable I bought as it did not provide power to the DAC from my iPhone 11 Pro. I tried a couple of cables I could find locally and gave up and ordered this one (ASIN: B09KLXYQDH) from amazon which is working well with the DAC. Speaking of the DAC, it’s my first mini-DAC for use with my portables like tablets and phone. I have used both the 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced outputs with IEMs and some Sony MDR-Z7M2 headphones and both worked great. I did not detect any hiss or buzz when the music was between songs and thought the power going to my headphones and IEMs was adequate. I did not try any hard to drive devices. So, I can’t comment on that aspect. One thing I really like is the color LED indicator which indicates the quality of the digital signal being received from the source. I also tried the DAC with my Windows desktop, MacBook Pro, and a fire tablet with success using the usb-c provided cable. So far, I m very pleased with the DAC.

Sound is very good, when it works
This thing can produce music with good quality and fidelity, when it's in good working order. It works very well when connected to Windows computers and Samsung smartphones, but NOT so well with Google Pixel phones. When it is plugged in to Pixel 8 Pro phones, it would make very loud white noise that has the potential of damaging your hearing. But after a few times (close to 10 times of trying) plugin & unplug it, the loud white noise would magically go away and then you can enjoy your music safely. The same problem would happen again the next time when you try to use it with Pixel phone.I had contacted the manufacturer of this product but did not get any useful help. Changing of USB cables did no help either. It must be something between Google's Pixel and this Fosi Audio DS1 product that's not working well.
