Appears to do its job well
I used this by doing 4 readings and taking the average of the last 3 readings which the machine conveniently provides. I always find the first reading is higher than the subsequent 3 thinking that I haven't settled enough before doing the initial reading. I think all these readers are very susceptible to your current state of mind and feeling so recording the readings over a month period I felt gave the best representation. Whether the figures recorded - that looked sensible to me - are accurate or not, I don't know. They looked it. However I got enough from getting the readings for a month and calculating a monthly average to provide to the Drs for them to look to hook me up to one of their ABPM machines to see if I really have an issue with blood pressure or not.This machine was easy to use, ensure you get the right cuff size but I did find because there wasn't a backlight it was sometimes hard to read the figures. Handy I found that you could use batteries or be hooked up to the mains via a USB connector provided. For the price, if the figures are accurate - its very good value.

Inexpensive
Very inexpensive machine. Whilst it works okay, l seem to get error messages frequently, these can be a nuisance. Machine appears well built and is quite robust.

Dangerous - Incorrect Readings
I used the machine twice a day for 3 weeks and consistently received very high readings. Understandably worried, I booked an appointment at my GPs who checked my BP and advised that it was within the expected range. I have now purchased an Omron device which is providing consistent readings. Do not buy!!
