Sequencing (Brighter Child Flash Cards) Cards – 29 Mar. 2006

The pictures are old school and I love it! Bought it for my 1.10 daughter - she loves all kinds of flash cards and these offers the wide range of every day situations to talk about. These a great cards for learning language. My 4 year old son loves them too - he puts the pictures in the order, but not so easy as you could guess - we can have an interesting converstion about the seasons, camping and other things. Good buy for the price!

These were brought for my son with learning disabilities and for nursery. This worked with both, it gets children looking at how things work, or the order things go in, and even where they get it "wrong" in our terms it's great for language work as they talk about what goes where and why. I particularly like the three season (not four?!) cards as it gets children thinking about which one is missing. But it's odd there are only three. That my only criticism.

Illustrations are quite old school, but the concept works just fine. I bought to teach my child about predicting and story sequencing, and its helped her.

Really useful for the grandchildren in times of lockdown... as the younger ones get a little older, will be used for them. My daughter has used them for her reception age son and says they have been a great part of his education whilst not at school

The idea is great but some of the pictures are really odd and some don’t really make much sense to me! My daughter is 3 and it definitely is a good tool to use but we really only look at a few of them.

I think flash cards are a fun way of teaching kids without being too formal. I bring them out all the time.
