Didn’t like this much at first. Then it hooked me. Marjorie and Sana worked their magic again. I’m a goner …..

I felt the first half of the book was slow-going with a little too much exposition, but once I got further into the story, the deliberate pace made sense. The allusions to something sinister later in the story kept me reading because I wanted to know what was going to happen. I'm looking forward to see where this story goes. The artwork is fantastic. This is definitely a great introduction.

I was nervous to buy this, because how can anything top Monstress? I was excited to buy this, because HELLO- Takeda. I’m so happy I have started this series. The illustrations live up to reputation, and the storyline is captivating. It connects with family trauma in a dark but dry humor way while spinning in the supernatural. 10/10z

What a phenomenal graphic novel. Such a beautifully unique take on the horror genre and the issues that arise when fighting both real demons and those that live within our family dynamics. And the illustrations are so dark and mesmerizing. I want more of the parents!! Can’t wait for the next issue!

Bland story, unlikeable and/or uninteresting characters, art definitely a bit tossed-off compared to Monstress, which is beautiful. Fair for the duo to want to explore other territory, but this isn’t very good and I have no desire to read the next chapter in a year.

Loved the artwork of this book. What you think is going to be your typical haunted house story turns out to be anything but. I really enjoyed all the characters, the family relationships, the supernatural elements, and how the story unfolds. I couldn't tell where it was all going; kept me on the edge of my seat!

Art was dark and dull. Storyline was weird, main characters unlikeable. Not an enjoyable read, at all.
