True dead sea, stings a bit for sensitive skin but..
Dead sea minerals always make my face go red, this product did the same thing makes my skin go red but not as red as normal, reason being is because it has ingredients like shea butter, which seems like its soothing. Bare dead sea is very potent, my face would be stinging and really red if it was pure.Red skin is good, it means its working and when your face heals up it looks more youthful. This product is perfect to help you look younger and it does clear the skin from impurities. Great for acne prone skin I would say. Don't be scared if face goes red or it stings, eventually 15-20 minutes later after taking it off skin is all healed up after using it. Well this is my experience with it.I left it on for 20 minutes before rinsing it off in the shower with warm water. It's a great product but twice a week won't last long because it was hard to put on properly, every time I tried to lather it on tight, but every time I tried to hide the skin on the face I would be wiping it off at the same time, so hard to create a fully sealed mask.Skin felt smooth, a little red and very clean when I finished. It did sting a little too and for sensitive skin may feel like a little painful when you touch the face, but this heals up within an hour or so less, and looks great afterwards, as the skin regenerates itself. They recommend patch test before applying just incase of reaction. Red face and stinging is normal though for sensitive skin.Colour of the product is a bit off, compared to the images on the product page, that look more dark grey. I feel like the longer I left it on the better it affects me. Next time I'll try 30 minutes. You only need 10-15minutes minimum though. It's great product, you should enjoy it while it lasts because the dead sea is drying up, one day it will be gone.

Bit expensive. But rather nice!
Not my ‘usual’ bit of bathroom kit. But slapping a load of mud on my face in the interests of loving myself more and caring for my skin seemed like a good idea.Slapped it on. Clearly looked like a God! (Else why was everyone looking at me when I wandered around Tesco?) and then washed it off in the shower after about 15 minutes of it drying away.Face felt nice afterwards. Went to the corner store and bought some chocolate and the women behind the counter mistook me for Brad Pitt. (I think that is what happened. Memory may be playing tricks) So clearly it works!Seriously though. Fine. Very muddy! May even do something. Honestly not sure. Not sure I’d use this 4 times a week as they seem to be suggesting?! At this price that is going to get real expensive, real quick.

Natural & Gentle Cleansing That Leaves My Skin Refreshed
I hadn’t heard of Plantifique before but I’m always on the lookout for new cleansers and masks to try to improve my skin and blocked pores. This is a little different to the typical mud mask as it’s natural but with hyaluronic acid added, and I’ve found it to be pretty effective and very pleasant to use.The Plantifique dead sea mud mask comes in a really nice black plastic tub, which I really like. It’s robust and feels nice to handle and makes it easier to use, too. Unscrew the lid and you’ll find there’s a plastic covering on top you need to peel off. This was the only thing I had an issue with because I couldn’t get it off easily. Pulling at the edges just tore the edge plastic off and eventually I had to use scissors to make a hole and tear from there. No biggie, but a bit strange this wasn’t a little easier. The product claims to help extract toxins, absorb excess oil and soften the skin, helping to refine, purify and nourish. It can apparently help with oily skin, blackheads, enlarged and blocked pores, dark spots and wrinkles. I’d always say though that with anything like this each person and their skin is different. What may work for one may not work for another so you won’t really know unless you try it.At least this product does have ingredients that are known to help the skin without it being harsh as it apparently uses 100% “natural ingredients”. Dead Sea mud helps to remove dirt and oil, sheet butter softens, blueberry detoxifies and brightens and hyaluronic acid helps with fine lines. The dead sea mud itself is pretty cool as it contains various things like iodine, zinc, calcium and potassium, so that alone is supposed to be good for deep cleaning. The product is “pH friendly” and it’s all naturally sourced, so I do feel better about it for being skin-friendly and fairly gentle. I didn’t have any problems with it anyway, but on the tub it does say it’s best to do a patch test first to be sure. It’s also not tested on animals, which is an important one in my opinion so that’s good to know. It’s free from nasties, like parabens, sulphate, lanolin, silicone, etc. It’s also Vegan friendly. This is a mud mask, so be prepared for the colour. It’s a swampy green, so not the most attractive thing to put on your face. This is quite a thick and fairly firm concoction, but once you have some on your fingers (or spatula applicator) it smooths onto skin well. I’ve only used a thin layer and that has been enough for me, working it over the majority of my face and concentrating on the t-zone.To use : Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the eye/mouth areas. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off well with warm water. Follow up with moisturiser. For the first use, I left it on nearly 15 minutes and it dried a bit patchy but what was great was washing it off. I came off with some warm water almost in little pieces so there wasn’t a load of residue left behind to have to scrub off with a towel, which is what I found with an old mud mask I used to use. This comes off pretty well, but I do only use a thin layer. The brand suggests following up with a moisturiser. The first time I used the mask I actually forgot to moisturise because I went off doing other things. I realised my skin wasn’t dry or tight, which is so rare for me after masks. My skin felt quite supple, fairly soft and very refreshed, so I do think the mask did a good job of cleansing. My skin looked clean, not greasy and quite balanced in terms of colour, with no redness or patches. The product page says this removes blackheads, but I’ve not noticed any difference (yet). I think with these sorts of things you need longer-term use to see potential results like that. It’s suggested you use this twice a week, so I’m aiming to do just that for the foreseeable future as I really enjoy using it and it leaves my face feeling great afterwards. The product is a bit pricey at £18.95 at the time of writing. However, you do get a lot in there at 100g, and I’ve found it effective with just a thin layer so I think it’ll last pretty well. There’s a use by date on the bottom of the tub, so do check that first to check it’s okay. Mine arrived with nearly 3 years to use it, which is brilliant. All in all, a natural and effective mud mask that really is more pleasant to use than it looks! The packaging is swish and the mask itself leaves my skin looking and feeling refreshed without drying it out. Very pleased!

So far so good.
I’ve found this Dead Sea mud mask spreads easily and a little goes a long way so this should last a fair amount of time.I spread it over my neck area too.It contains Hyaluronic acid so it’ll help with anti aging. It aims to detox and get all the impurities out of your pores and help them shrink and tighten.I have a sensitive skin and I’ve had no irritation or breakouts as a result of using this.My skin feels brighter and has a bit of a glow after using it.It is vegan friendly, paraben free and cruelty free. A whopping 96% of the ingredients are naturally sourced.I left it on for 10 mins then followed up with my moisturiser.I would suggest to keep it out of sunlight. So far so good, I’ve only been using it a short period of time but I’m happy.I hope my review helps you.

Easy to apply and wash off, leaves your skin feeling soft
For anyone that likes to look after their skin, exfoliating is a must, as is applying products to help with the exfoliation and this mud mask from Plantifique will certainly assist in that area.To use, you rub into your skin and leave on for around 15 minutes, then wash off (it does take a good wash to get it off your face, so I would think doing that in the shower is the best place to do that). Once rubbed off and clean you really do feel like you have softer skin, but I do wonder if its the face mask that is keeping your skin soft and exfoliated or if its the act of scrubbing your face that clears the pores out?Make sure that you test this on your skin before rubbing it all over your face, just in case you have a reaction to it. We were fine using it but some people may not.
