These roof bars are very strong & good value for money. They fit my Skoda Yeti perfectly. The only niggle is that they are adjusted with an allen key, which is supplied but it isn't long enough to allow it to be rotated fully and it is also difficult to engage. Apart from that they are very good

Going on a weekend camping break, as per usual too much luggage and had not got round to buying roof bars, Researched quickly on the internet and was dismayed to see that what I needed was more than the trip I had budgeted for. So when I saw this supposedly universal solution at a great price, I was over the moon and ordered immediately. Problem was that delivery could have come when I was away. Enter amazing customer service they arrived on time. I installed in 30 mins (that is probably 15 mins for most people) And the rest as they say is history. I drove a round trip of about 600 miles on motor ways and winding, hilly country roads with no issues. There was no sound from the rail bars whilst they were loaded (with far too much stuff for a weekend away,) However I noticed that when I drive around without a load you can sometime hear a faint high pitch hum. Of course being so easy to install I should have taken them off by now... lazy me,I have literally saved over a hundred pounds the bars look good on my car. However it is a 15 year old Merc estate and I am not too bothered about them looking like they were specifically made for the vehicle. if you have a newer model of prestigious car you may feel not feel comfortable spending only £30 to £40 pounds on your car, but that is nothing to do with the functionality of the bars. For me (aka family camping and holidays with far too much stuff ) functionality is everything.

Fitted my Dacia Duster 2021 new model which has wide roof bars. Look good, instructions were clear, although took about 30 mins to fit the 1st time, mainly due to the many turns of the allen key needed to tighten the grips. Locks were sticky so have greased them to help. I couldn't hear any noise at 70mph but my wife (with better hearing) could hear a whistling at 50-60mph. I haven't tried them with a cycle carrier yet. The caps are secure once locked.

I bought these just before lock down happened with the intention of using them in summer 2020 to go on holiday. This was postponed until July 2021 but I had them fitted to my car from when I bought them and had never tested them under load. When not under load I hadn't had any issues and had tightened them up with the supplied allen key.When the holiday came up I fitted my 540L roof box to the bars and filled it full of luggage as I had in previous years when using Thule roof bars on a previous car. The Thule bars had always bowed slightly but these stayed straight and true. I used my socket set to tighten them up more than I could with the allen key just to be safe.I had no issues whatsoever and happy used them on holiday in North Wales.I was sceptical of buying these at first but they cost less than 25% of the price of the Thule bars I had previously. So now I ask 'why pay more?'They fit on my VW Golf Estate MK7 perfectly and now in July 2022 still all ok and ready to go on holiday again...

Roof rack arrived but was not wide enough for my car. It was for a vehicle with a maximum width of 98.5cm. I rang the supplier and they said that they could supply one with up to 130cm width with a stronger material for an extra £20. This I accepted paid the extra £20, and it was delivered and the old one collected without extra charge. This was great service.Unfortunately, the new rack was exactly the same width as the original, for maximum width of 98.5cm but of a higher standard.I rang the firm but could not get them to understand the problem that the second one sent was of the same width as the original. They said that they could not understand my problem and that they would refund the monies paid and recover the second rack which that occurred on Tuesday 4th.I wanted a rack of width to accommodate a vehicle of 107cm but I just could this point across to E2 representativeI have just bought one from another supplier.Ken williams

Oh yes! these are good! Very light but sturdy..... Attractive looking.... Quite easy to fit ~ only took me about ten to fifteen minutes, and I was on my own.The top box we put on them was well loaded, about 75kg+ and these bars took the strain with ease!With the top box on they were silent, but on there own there was a bit of noticeable whistling which the radio covered easily enough. So over all, Brilliant! And I would definitely recommend them Highly ★★★★★

these fit and remove very quickly and easily to my 2006 accord tourer. the fixing brackets slide on the full length of the bar. the security key rotates a cover to reveal a hole to insert a hex key to close and clamp to the rail. as it tightens it locks the bracket to the rail and the bar to the bracket. once done rotate the key to close access to the hex key hole. these are lightweight easy to fit on your own and function well. I transported a sheet of 3/4" ply and 5 lengths of 4" x 2". strapped with ratchet straps they travelled well at 50 mph.The downside is that although the end caps look smart are merely a push fit on to the end of the bar and two became detached and lost on their first outing, When dragging/sliding things on and off the roof bars.The seller was contacted via Amazon for replacement, but I was happy to instead receive replacement caps in the post. Using a 3.5mm drill and pop rivets I have now fitted the end caps securely to the bars.Another reviewer is correct when they say a drill will easily negate the security method if a thief is in possession of a long reach hex key of the correct size.These could easily have got 5 stars. These are smashing bars at a great price.....with a tiny design flaw. buy them and be aware, or as I did, finish the product off properly.
