Best around
Not only is this nicely priced, but it works great for my 2 laptops and my large 4k Samsung 49in screen. I was skeptical at first but they proved me wrong. This device is small, low priced and works as expected! Love it!

KVM Switch works well, but set up is a bear.
This review is for a KVM switch to use 2 computers with 1 monitor and 1 mouse and keyboard. Doing this review, it was asking to rate features including "camera quality", "sleep mode" and "for gaming". The 1st 2 features have nothing to do with a KVM switch, so I'm hoping they are not showing one item, but trying to get reviews for something else entirely. As for the KVM switch itself, it does work well. When switching from one PC to the other, there is a significant delay. Had an older switch (didn't have extra USB ports for peripherals) that switched much faster. That is my biggest complaint. I also don't like that the power light on the switch stays the same color regardless of which PC is in use. Again, my old switch would show a different color for each of the PCs so you can tell which is connected at a glance. I also have to mention the cables provided. Kind of cheap, and way too short to reach peripherals (speakers, printer, etc.). Those were the reasons for deducting 1 star from my review. I also have to add, that setup is a nightmare. That is not the switches fault, but getting to all the cables of both PCs and rerouting them caused me to almost rip my hair out. If you choose to use a KVM switch, and don't have easy access to the backs of the PCs and behind your desk, you may want to reconsider. Just saying. Overall though, this works well if you can ignore the delay in switching computers.

description does not match the product delivered
My setup has 2 computers sharing 2 monitors.the description clearly states "HDMI 2.1 KVM Switch Dual Monitors" but actually it supports only a single monitor. The KVM is powered through USB. That can be done through one free USB port on the computer or any other usb power socket. the box is labeled for 5V. The description says 12 V 12A which is an outrageous amount of power consumption for that small box. It won't get that amount through USB...There are 2 special usb cables supplied that use one of the usb ports on each host. It does not ship any HDMI cables. Make sure you have extra ones since you need 2 for each computer -> switch -> monitorThe front of the box has usb ports for keyboard and mouse and other stuff you share between computers. The backside has ports for the 2 computers and for 1 monitor.I should have looked at the pictures where you can spot the disconnect between the description and the product. It switches a single monitor just fine. There is a few seconds delay after each switch before the monitors syncs up.All in all a neat product but not what I need for my application.

Works great
This 4k 120hz KVM switch works great - it was the fastest 4k KVM I could find. My son's gaming monitor has a 144hz refresh rate and this was the closest I could find. He doesn't usually play games that require that kind of speed, so I think he'll be fine with 120hz max. He needs a KVM switch because he's in college for graphic design and has a MacBook Air for school work but has a PC gaming computer to play on nights and weekends. This will allow him to plug in his Mac to his big display, keyboard and mouse to be more productive when working on assignments. We set it all up before he left for college and it worked really well. The only thing I wish they would change - and this is minor - is the corded switch that comes with the KVM only has some kind of rubber backing, not adhesive. It would be really great if it had the option for either just a nonslip backing or an adhesive. I think it would work well stuck to the back of his monitor so he could just reach around and press the button and it would stay out of sight and not clutter his desk. Again, that's really minor and not a big issue. Overall this KVM switch works great and I definitely recommend it if you need a KVM capable of 4k or high refresh rates.

KVM switches can be problematic
I use both a Linux workstation and an Apple MacBook Pro. I have a very small work area, so I share a mouse, keyboard, and a 24-inch Dell monitor with the two computer systems. I also share a headphone/mic pair.I have an existing KVM switch that I have been using. Sometimes when I switch between computers, the computer does not display on the monitor. I was hoping for a more reliable function, so I tried this KVM switch. This KVM switch comes with external power, which I plugged into a USB adapter. I moved the HDMI and USB plugs from my current switch to this switch, port for port. Unfortunately, I could not get this switch to work. I made sure that all of the plugs were completely plugged in, but neither of my computer systems would display on the monitor.I have a lighted "gaming" keyboard. When I switched between computer systems with this KVM switch, the lights on the keyboard went out, which did not happen with my old switch. I don't know if the time the switch takes to switch between components is the cause of the problem I was having.I have tried several KVM switches and read reviews of many KVM switches. A switch may work with one computer combination and not another. This appears to be a solid switch that supports high-resolution graphics with 120Hz refresh. With another pair of computers it may work well, but it doesn't work with my systems.
