Worth every penny
We got this for our mom so she can get in the shower, and also sit in the shower on her own. It is wonderful! Definitely worth every penny we paid. Our mom is even more willing to shower now since the process is so much easier for her.

Very Stable Shower Chair
Super easy to assemble. No tools required. The chair legs were easy to set level in our walk-in shower. It feels very sturdy when swiveling and moving sideways. This will be very helpful and safe to use.

Does not extend to 24" as suggested
Great chair and easy assembly but does not clear the 20.5" tub we have. Description says extends up to 24" and it does not. Had to order the $100 leg extenders.

BUY IT! IT'S WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!
We have a 48" walk in shower but the base lip is about 4" to a person with mobility issues this is a large stumbling block!!! Yes he tripped one time and at me trying to catch a 311lb wet man was enough for me to invest in this chair. This chair supports my husband at 311lbs. I have to do the knob and pull up level due to his confusion and his belly blocks his use of his arms and hands[also due to arm surgeries] but to be able to have him not stand in the shower to get out is so much safer. I do have him stand holding onto tub safety rail to wash his back side[this chair does NOT have a opening for that] but he is only focused on standing and the turning and stepping. So that is not a terrible issue for him/me at this time. He slides in and out of shower and the seat pivets so he can use shower chair arms to stand up to use his walker when finished. Arms lower it you need them to.My only 4 star was because they wrapped plastic under the permanent parts so you can see bits of plastic[more a OCD issue] ONLY thing i had to do was use WD40 on the bar where the unit slides and on the knob---mostly because I dont have hand and finger strenght to pull knob out. But this fixed that issue. I highly recommend this chair.

Quality
This is a quality shower chair. My mom needs a little assistance with moving the chair seat. But it is a good product. Sturdy and well made.

Chair seat is too tall at lowest setting
The specs say the chair height is adjustable 19.5 to 24 inches. At the lowest setting this chair measures 22.5 inches and my feet do not sit flat on the floor. I’m 5’11”. My wife is much shorter and it’s very uncomfortable and difficult to maneuver when your feet don’t touch the floor or the bottom of the tub. Also consider that the bottom of my tub is higher than the floor and slopes and the sides taper. So the final height adjustment at the outside of the tub is much higher.I did called product support on the issue of the chair not sliding under weight. Not too much help other than check for damage. My solution was to lube the rails with bar soap…that worked. The spring on the lever that allows the seat to swivel was not engaged properly and I had to adjust that in order to get it the seat to work properly. I haven’t used it and I think it’s going back. Simply too tall for our use. Maybe it will work for you.

Useful item
I bought this item after hip surgery and continue to use it as it allows me to shower with some assistance from my wife. I like the swivel with positive stops at 45 and90 degrees. The knob for the swivel is easy to reach. The glide mechanism works well but the knob for this is hard to use and seems to get stuck. The seat is never cold, is comfortable and the handles are positioned well to help me getting on and off the seat.
