This apple charger does charge your Macbook. However, it will take FOREVER to charge. If you are using your Macbook while charging, the charges actually not charge fast enough and you actually losing battery percentage.This charger works, but not good enough.I do not recommend this product.

Works perfectly! Apple cords, which come apart all the time, are really expensive but this is not as expensive and if it breaks I won't break the bank buying a new one!

Purchased in May, broken by October. Might be a fire hazard, too--strong smell of burning wax right before the cord turned yellow (where it attaches to the square portion) and fell apart.

I bought this May 2018 and it broke in October 2018. It gets really warm while charging my laptop and that’s probably why my charger started sparking and broke the cable.

Bought in May and it not no longer works, even with no visible signs of wear. Waste of $!

Great alternative to Apple's own chargers. I was looking for something very lightweight since I plan on going on a long distance biking trip (yup, I'm taking my Macbook for some video editing). It's pretty small as you can tell by the picture and very lightweight and offers a surprisingly fast charge to the Macbook. Very satisfied!
