This is my second Yeti, the first was a birthday gift. After owning that I had to get another, but smaller size. This one is like 15 ounce or so with a mag slider. The mag slider is improved over the old style, makes cleaning much easier! It’s not as leak resistant as the old style because now you only have the top magnet stopping liquids. The old style had a piece on the inside and outside. More protection but more tiny spaces to collect junk. It was a fair trade off I think. The mug itself is great, nice solid feel, holds up really well to the vigors of daily use. This is “my” cup, so I often just clean and reuse for whatever Im drinking, makes no difference. The other thing I’ve noticed is that it does not seem to keep my coffee as hot as long as my old one. The lid on these newer ones seem a bit thinner on the plastic. Not a lot, but enough so I noticed. Between that and just one layer for the lock, I think it’s not as heat holding friendly as the older style lids. Now cold is another story, it keeps stuff cold a long time, I have no complaints there. Overall this is a killer mug. I love my Yeti mugs and Im sure I’ll be buying more for myself and my family. These are well worth the money spent and hold up really well.

Yeti products are made of quality material. I use this mug everyday because it doesn't stain from coffee drinking, easy to clean, and the handle is comfortable. The most important reason why I purchased this particular brand was because it can keep my coffee hot for about 2 - 3 hours, which I did not get when purchasing Stanley or Hydro Flask.The disadvantage with this mug is that the lid is not leak proof. If you happen to knock the cup on its side the liquid will leak.

Simple, strong, effective. Keeps the drink warm longer than you even want it. Great stuff.

To be fair, I don't like to use the cap so my coffee loses heat faster without it. Even so, I don't think with the lid (which I sometimes use) it stays hot as long as advertised. But it does stay hot and the wider shorter design works well in the car even without a holder and is easier to clean than a travel mug. The handle seems solid and is comfortable to hold.

I broke my favorite mug and thought I’d be better off with one I couldn’t break. I had bought this same mug as a Christmas gift last year so I knew how awesome it was. It keeps my tea warm and is nice and big.
