We have a Springer Spaniel with extremely selective hearing, so I bought this to call her back when wanderlust takes her fancy. This is one seriously loud whistle, so should be audible to humans from several hundred yards away (or for a doggy, miles away :-). It has a ring thingy, so can attach to a key-ring and be ready at a moments notice. It is somewhat larger than I expected, but not too big to hang on a key-ring. Certainly it is preferable to "tune able" dog whistles, that tend to come unscrewed and disintegrate.

Absolutely first rate product; price tag excellent, too. Neat, lightweight; both come with a handy lanyard - my son required one for his Duke of Edinburgh Award outward bound course - the other whistle I have given to my wife - as a panic alarm, & for which she now carries on her keys. Unobtrusive, yet very effective (the whistle is shrill, & would alert anyone to an individuals' presence). Thoroughly recommended item !!

These whistles were brought because I trained my dog to come when I blew a whistle. As time has passed she is now very deaf and couldn't hear my old pea whistle. Alas she can't hear this whistle either. It is not the fault of the whistle, she is deafer than we thought. The whistles are loud, slimline and easy to clip on your belt or like me my dog walking bag. A good product and a decent price. We now take them with us when walking over the moors as you never know when you may need to whistle for assistance.

I bought these two whistles solely based on the previous reviews here and I am very glad that I did so. The whistle is very well-designed with detachable lanyard, ring and chain, allowing you to carry it in a number of ways. There are no moving parts (peas) inside the whistle with the noise being made by the way the air passes through the whistle, which should mean that the whistles last an incredibly long time. Most importantly of all, a loud noise is made without needing to blow too much air through the whistle. The noise is slightly different to the one made by a pea rattling around inside a traditional whistle, but is certainly audible from a significant distance. My main purpose of use is to attract attention when I am coaching runners outdoors, and it does the job very well.

I wasnt sure what to expect for the money, but these really are loud and well made whistles. I bought them with the intention of using them to get the attention of a noisy cub pack and having given them a gentle blow when they arrived I'm sure they will be easily heard over the noise of 24 boys talking about Fortnite when they should be listening to instructions.They also come with some nice lanyards with a spring clip, so the manufacturer has listened to previous reviews.

I bought these to use with my dogs as they sometimes get into a barking frenzy if there is someone at the door. It can be difficult to get their attention when they’re in this mode and I don’t want to scold them for barking as I like the fact that they alert me if there is someone around.The whistle emits an ear-piercing sound when you blow it very hard (I never do this as it’s too loud and literally painful to my ears. To a dog this would be very distressing). I just give it a gentle blow and this is loud enough to get the dogs attention without hurting their ears. I’m not sure how useful they’d be at recalling a dog unless they were blown very gently.The whistles are aluminium and very light to wear around my neck on the handy lanyard provided.

This whistle is of a much better quality than I had expected. I was very impresses as soon as I took it from the packaging. Not only does it look good and feel of the highest quality and comes at a very reasonable price but it comes with lase and loop attachments so as it can be fixed anywhere from your keychain to hanging around your neck or on your rucksack. The whistle sound can easily be controlled from very quiet to very loud and as its made from Aluminium wont rust after contact with water. Excellent.

Bought these whistles mainly for my wife .we had been warned of pickpockets in the country we where visiting. They are loud ,easy to carry round your neck or attach to clothing with the cord they come with.well made also very light. Good price. These would be ideal for walkers or any one could need assistance in the event of an emergency.
