Good Clean Even Light Without Heat
I use these in my kitchen downlights. They have been a big issue for a long while, so bad that I gave up even using them, they were more trouble than they were worth! They would get hot, bulbs would go out and I would have to keep tapping them to get the lights to come on, and they would get burning hot.I figured it was just the G4 fittings that were too temperamental to be reliable, and gave up using them...I'm guessing it's not just me.These have solved all my issues, I'm amazed. I thought this type of bulb was too small to work with LEDs, I didn't think there would be enough space for the electronics, then I came across these by chance.I ordered them in 6000K Cool White/Daylight because I prefer the bright, clean, neutral light they give off, I've been steadily replacing all by bulbs with 6000K colour temperature bulbs so they match. The first thing I noticed about these is how easy they are to install, the transparent casing is made of clear rubber, so it's much easier to grip these tiny bulbs and locate them in the fitting. The light is just excellent, it's really even and gives out light over a large area, my kitchen's much brighter now, and these have stayed on. no more tapping and fiddling with them. They don't get hot at all either, plus they're saving quite a lot of electricity and they'll last for years. I have not noticed any flicker, though I'm not so sensitive to it anyway. The bulb section looks long, I took a photograph, the bulb part that stands proud of the fitting is 28mm long. They fit fine in my standard downlights.Though it doesn't really matter in my use case, they are double-sided, there are LEDs the same on both sides, so they'll work in a table lamp just fine. They're just excellent, the price is great, they work well, and have made my kitchen downlights usable!

Brilliant replacement for my halogen g4's
I have used these to replace my halogen G4 bulbs and am really pleased with them.I thought I'd try the cool white for a change and they offer a crisp even light beam. A great advantage is the available brightness and clarity but without the heat.Fitting was easy if a little tight, so whilst still a G4 bulb its size is a little longer and may be an issue for some fittings.

Decent bulb but length might be an issue
WE needed some replacement bulbs to fit in the kitchen Ikea cupboard downlights. These are of the correct type regarding connectivity, but sadly they are just too long to fit within the lamp fitting. They are considerably longer then the original 'standard' lamps. Yes, they will provide a good light output and are cheaper to run, but just not any good for these specific lights, so we will have to use them in a larger fitting.

Good
switched out some old filament G4 bulbs for these LED versions as part of an ongoing effort to upgrade all my home lighting, and overall, I’m quite pleased with them, though there are some important things to keep in mind. One thing that stood out right away is that these LED G4 bulbs are larger than the older halogen bulbs I’m used to—about twice the size, in fact. If you have older or smaller light fittings, make sure to double-check the dimensions to ensure they’ll fit. Fortunately, they fit in my existing holders, but this could be a deal-breaker for tighter spaces. It’s clear that as LED technology advances, manufacturers of light fixtures need to accommodate these larger bulbs. These bulbs are encased in a silicone gel, giving them a soft, rubbery texture instead of the typical glass casing. This unique design adds durability and seems like a good move for heat dissipation and longevity. While they’re a bit unusual to handle, I didn’t have any issues with installation.I opted for the "cool white" version, and it delivers exactly the crisp, clean white light I was hoping for, which works perfectly in both my kitchen and bathroom. The cooler light gives a more clinical, modern feel compared to the warmer tones of halogen or soft white LEDs. However, it’s important to note that these bulbs are not compatible with dimmer switches, which could be a limitation depending on where you want to use them. One of the biggest advantages of these LEDs is their energy efficiency. With rising electricity costs, switching to LED is a smart move, and these bulbs are no exception. They promise a significant reduction in energy use compared to traditional filament bulbs, and the 20,000-hour lifespan means you won’t need to worry about frequent replacements. If these hold up as well as similar LED bulbs I’ve used, they should last for years.Coming in a pack of 10, these are quite affordable, and the energy savings make them even more cost-effective in the long run. While the initial cost is higher than halogens, the long lifespan and energy savings quickly make up for it.

Nice drop in for the ever changing halogen bulbs
Dropped these in our lamp fitting, slightly longer than the usual bulbs but give out a good spread of light, no difference from the halogen, but we went for the warm white and it's whiter than a regular bulb but gives a good light, slightly brighter too.Only downside so far is they stick out slightly from the fitting, the photos show the replaced bulbs and the tip just comes outside slightly.Assuming these last they are worth it, if they fail quickly will update but so far really happy with these!
