At first I was slightly skeptical about the effectiveness, but once I started using it I was blown away at how it left my scalp feeling cool and refreshed! This is it. This is worth every penny. I have started doing my own braids. And you can wash the synthetic hair once and be good. This stuff is a game changer if ever there was. I sit and take every braiding out 1x1 and clean the scalp and hair with this and it was time consuming but worth it. I noticed that my hair shed was better and my hair felt soft and extremely clean ready to braid right up.

I tried this product because I’ve been suffering from patches of dandruff and was hoping it could help. As a Caucasian woman I wasn’t sure how it would work on my hair - but the product is working great. I’m using in between washes when flakes appear. I waited awhile to post this. I wanted to make sure I used it for awhile. I will say, it's so nice!! You get a nice tingling, refreshing sensation when applied. It makes your scalp feel clean. I have oily hair, and it helped with maintaining that oil.Also, the scent is clean and fresh. But not over powering for those who are scent sensitive.

So I loved it so much I swore by design essentials until I tried this, when I bought it the price was $15 just like 2 days ago I was like let me get more and it’s $30 , the product is definitely a necessary evil. It does have a cooling effect which I love and it smells good. My scalp feels refreshed it doesn’t itch.
