I converted to a 30 amp twist lock inlet on my travel trailer. Not all of my chords have that end on them. I did cut the original cord end off and installed a twist lock adapter as I was no longer pushing the cord into the camper storage compartment. This is now sealed to the outside. (Ants would come in on the cord)Rather than cutting off the original cord ends (I have two extensions) and installing a twist lock adapter, I purchase this adapter. Perfect choice. This has a twist on locking ring which is a must to prevent it from pulling off.It is nicely made. I use dielectric grease on the prongs to prevent corrosion and resistance. This is an excellent practice. You can buy this grease here on Amazon.

I needed to use a marine-style shore power cable without using the camper's TT30 power cable. This dog-bone allowed me to do that. Worked great, high quality. Very pleased.

Works great adapting the 30 amp twist lock connection on my trailer to standard three prong RV 30 amp connection.

This is a well made adapter and easily fits my 4000W Champion generator. The extra length of this pigtail improves the flexibility of attaching extension cords to the generator.
