Awesome RC! This thing is fast and handles like a dream. It’s also very durable! I waited a week before reviewing and my sons and I put this thing through some very rough driving. It handled everything we threw at it without any issues! I highly recommend! This is the best 1/12th scale (Mini 1/10th scale) on the market.

This is an awesome RC car for the price and the best one we've found for kids. My son received the same one as a gift and after abusing it for 6 months we decided to get it for my nephew. They both love it. Do not hesitate to buy this RC car especially if it's around $50. It's at least 20x better than one from a big box store and only about 2.5x the cost. We've received about 5 other RC cars over the years and they all last a couple months before they get recycled or donated because they break or the kids get bored of them. This one is a keeper and very durable. If it breaks because you launch it off a small cliff then you can repair it like a real RC car. We've jumped off tables, banks, gone through deep puddles, etc and it's just a little scratched. The battery lasts a lot longer than I expected it would and because it comes with two of them you're pretty much good for 20-30 minutes of straight driving. It usually lasts my kids about an hour because they drive it around and then stop and build jumps or make a course. I usually put it on the low speed or medium speed for the kids because it's fast enough and extends the battery life. The top speed is so fast that it might explode if driven into a curb with a direct shot and at the maximum speed. There are other similar RC cars online for a little less, but from my research most of those are not 4 wheel drive like this one. Because it is a real RC car and not a cheap toy it has features of a real RC car. For example the power button is located underneath the body and you need to remove the body (4 pins) and turn it on and then replace the body. The battery is also anchored to the RC car with this fairly stiff latch. While these features are inconvenient they serve the purpose of protecting these two key components from impact and weather. The battery latch is very stiff at first, but there is a trick to it, and after a few times of replacing the battery you'll get the hang of it.

The media could not be loaded. Very impressive speed. Very durable, don’t drive like a jaggoff or you’ll break it. Range goes at least 100 yards. Got the 4400 battery noticeably more speed and run time. Haven’t found a need to install the faster pinion gear yet. It goes fast enough out the box.

Controller does not stay connected to the rc car

My 8 year old grandson absolutely loves it! I am so happy with this product.

I’m extremely disappointed with the RIAARIO Mini. I used it fewer than five times, always on flat, level ground — no jumps, no rough terrain, no abuse of any kind. Despite that, the gears are already completely shredded and it no longer moves at all.For something advertised as hobby-grade and built for performance, this kind of failure is unacceptable. I didn’t even get a full weekend of use out of it. Clearly, either the quality control is nonexistent or the materials are way below the standard they claim.What’s worse is that this wasn’t some cheap knockoff — I chose RIAARIO because I expected something reliable and well-built. Instead, I got a product that broke down faster than a toy from a dollar store.I honestly regret this purchase and can’t recommend it to anyone unless the company is willing to step up, take responsibility, and fix this.
