More comfortable than Doc Martens!
This is my second favorite pair of boots now! I did not purchase them as "work boots" although I can see how they would be great for this. I purchased them they match my style and they look amazing! They give me a Doc Martens (my 1st fave pair of boots) vibe but I have to say, they are more comfortable than my DMs. And as far as the sizing, they are exact to my shoe size! Very happy with this purchase.

The best work boots .. i did my research before purchasing because i just had “ankle reconstruction surgery” last year & im still in the healing process they said it takes a whole year to heal … i couldnt walk for 4 months but i needed a work boot comfortable around my ankle . Starting back at work at amazon .. im so glad i got these !!!!

Runs large
Boots run very large. I wear a 7 1/2 or 8. Amazon suggested 8 I should have gotten a 7 1/2. Way too big, the tongue on the left boot bites the top of my foot. Great toe width. Not a bad boot overall for the price.

BEST BOOT EVER
I've owned a pair of these Carhartt's for a year now and every year my company reimburses our shoe purchase so I ordered another pair. The picture shows the new pair on the left and the year worn pair on the right. These boots are AWESOME. They beat out all the other brands I've tried, especially Timberlands. They're waterproof, can kick anything and not feel it, not too heavy, after a week or so they conform to your foot and are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. I work in the trucking industry and also on a dock around heavy equipment and freight and these have been right there with me the whole time. If boots could be a solid best friend these are the pair. True to size, laces are great quality, and there's lots of support if your standing still for a while. Just buy them I don't know what you're waiting for.
