This is my third one like this because I leave them with the boat when I sell them.I've had to use it a few times with no problem, good wistle, rope Ok, I usualy buy a seperate flashlight for the kit.Basicaly last forever.

If you don't value all-in-one, this is not ideal
I got this as a stocking stuffer for my kids who race Optis. The truth is that the Bailer is not the optimal size (its too small) and if the all-in-one feature isn't a key feature then there are better options for all of these items separately.

Good to meet safety equipment requirements for small boats
This is a small kit that meets some of the needed safety equipment requirements for our boat.

As advertised. Simple package. As advertised. Simple, nothing of the ordinary. Priced a bit higher than one would think. But is handy to have when out on lake etc. A flash-light would be nice as part of this kit.

all-in-one must have for the recreational boater
all-in-one must-have for the recreational boater. it does not include everything bust very handy for the kayak, rowboat, etc. don't forget to install batteries for the flashlight and coat each end of the battery and the base of the lightbulb with dielectric grease (just use a small amount of this) available from your automotive store.

Perfect little kit for your canoe!
As others have stated the rescue rope may be on the cheaper side, however you can shop around as much as you like and you will not find a better kit for the price. This kit will keep you legal while on most water ways and is great quality. Way better then the cheapy canadian tire kit I had previously owned.

Almost everything you need for a boating safety kit
Gasketed screw cap keeps the contents dry and square edges to keep it from rolling around. I would suggest adding a flashlight as it's required in some jurisdictions.
