wonderful sound quality
I had tried 2 different cheap alternatives that had really bad sound quality with lots of noise, so I decided to try a better quality device. It is working wonderfully for me. I have a TV that is connected to a old stereo system, and I wanted to be able to stream music and audiobooks from my Android tablet to the stereo. The stereo system and speakers are old with super sound quality, but limited connectivity. It didn't matter to me, but I did notice what looks like a limitation of its support for digital or analog inputs and outputs. It has both 3.5mm analog and S/PDIF optical inputs and outputs, but the inputs and outputs must be the same, so you can't have input from one and output to the other. It comes with one USB power adapter with cable, one S/PDIF optical cable, one male to male 3.5 mm analog cable. It also included an adapter cable with a female 3.5 mm socket and RCA phone male plugs. Whichever you are using optical or analog, you will need another cable if you plan to use it in wired passthrough mode between a TV and stereo.I really like that this device not only lets me stream via Bluetooth to the stereo now, but its bypass switch makes it simple to select whether I want TV sound or Bluetooth input, since my amp didn't have any more inputs. For only $40 my 50 year old stereo and speakers have now entered the 21th century.I have no need for the device's TX function to broadcast audio to Bluetooth headphones, so I cannot say how well that functions.

Long range, if that's needed, two device Bluetooth works well.
This works okay for two headsets. My biggest problem with it is the Voice prompts. It's hugely loud. I've put tape over the speaker, to muffle it some, but there's no volume on here at all. The headsets I've paired with with the volume all the way up, is barely adequate for movie listening. But that's the idea I guess, quiet listening so you don't disturb others. Bypass mode to use through this box for my sound bar is a primary reason for me choosing this particular unit. So I didn't have to unplug my optical connection all the time to switch over. All in, this works as it should. Not as polished as I thought it would be, but it works.

Very difficult to operate
This device promises to do it all and it does - except you have to operate a bunch of buttons and switches. In a nutshell:1) Choose one type of buttons and stick with it - this device has SOME buttons on top and SOME switches on the sides2) I wanted this device to simply pass thu hardwired connection, unless BT was enabled. Unfortunately, you have to press several buttons and throw a switch to do that.WAY too complicated! And I'm a Software Developer - I can handle it, but I shouldn't have to.

How they are selling this item I have no idea
This item does not connect to Bluetooth devices.. let me explain. So item will pair to Bluetooth once.... I say that again.. once. The issue is you can't unpair a device or clear the ones that are in it. The device will simply no longer work with the unit. I think this is what happened to me. I had a pair to my soundbar. One day I turn it on and it couldn't connect. So I tried everything and then I realized I can connect anything that have a display so that you could unpair. Without having the option of a reset button or a screen to unpair the device is useless. Extremely extremely bad design

Long latency (delay) - not effective for TV viewing with regular APTX headphones
The transmitter exhibited very noticeable delay in watching TV with regular APTX (but lacking APTX LL) Bluetooth 5 headphones. The transmitter is fine for listening to music but the delay is disorienting in watching TV (and I assume for gaming) unless it is paired with specifically designated APTX Low-Latency headphones. Since I do not own such headphones (few such wireless earbuds are available at mid-price range), I am returning the device. As a side-comment, I tried to get technical assistance through Amazon's 'Chat' feature - this was a useless waste of time.In all fairness, the manufacturer states in the product description that low-latency requires earphones with low-latency capability, however, I did not realize that the latency will be this long and disorienting.

Better than the cheapie versions of bluetooth adapters
I found this unit to be easier to reconnect to than the Logitech or other cheaper adapters I have used. I also appreciate the extended range of this over the others and the ability to transmit or receive. If you're tired of having Bluetooth re-connecting headaches, I recommend using this unit.

A good fit for me
Only issue I had during setup was with my LG TV not this transmitter. What I thought was the obvious choice for speaker choice turned out not to be the correct one, so at first I thought the transmitter was not working. After cycling through all the speaker options, I hit on the correct one, and everything works well now.

Failed after a few months. Poorly made.
After a few months, the volume went way down on the Bluetooth speakers. However the speakers work great on a phone Bluetooth connection. The Besign transmitter seems to have failed. I have the transmitter connected to a cable box via a coax sound cable. The optical port has never functioned. It is very poorly made.

Smaller that it looks in the ad.
Seems to be a great little product. Had to reset it once to connect to my Bluetooth speaker, but not really an issue. The bypass works great to go from TV to stereo, sound seems good so far and I have not noticed any lag from TV to voice. The optical hook up is a good system. Best to purchase a headphone adapter from large to small as you will need it to play your stereo to a Bluetooth speaker. They know you need it so not sure why it isn't in the box.

An Average Product.
I got this product based on the reviews from other users on Amazon, however I'm not really impressed with it. The device has a few short comings and these are:1) Does not simultaneously connect 2 devices. Me and my son have a pair of Bluetooth earbuds and if we want to watch TV together, only one of the Bluetooth earbud will work - not both will connect and work simultaneously2) Doesn't relay sound from the apps in Smart TV. If I play any content from my Smart TV apps like, Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Videos, the device doesn't relay the sound to Bluetooth earbuds for some reason. If I transfer the sound on the regular TV speakers/ my sound system, it comes out just fine.3) There's no volume control in the device and I could only watch the content on any preset volume level. These are some of the observations I had in the last 2 weeks. I'd love to hear advise from other users if they face similar issues and could somehow manage to rectify the same. Also, I'm considering to return this device as I'm not satisfied with its performance as described in the description.I would also like other to please suggest if they have used other devices which could address the above.Thanks.

Compact and excellent range
Not a tiny toy, but has some heft compared to some flaky bluetooth transmitters I've used in the past. Mainly to watch tv via bluetooth headphones. Syncs up well with non-aptx headphones. Distance amazed me as I go at least 50 feet with walls in between and still listen to the news/shows. Only tip I have is to have headphones searching first before setting transmitter to search device.

Perfect, stays on for ease of use
Works great, no sound delay and best of all you can plug in the wall so that it stays powered on. No need to get up and press a button to reconnect headphones, just need to power on the headphones and poof, connected. Warning, make sure your headphones have volume buttons on them so that you can control the volume.

Good bluetooth range
This Bluetooth adapter is small and compact. Like that its has optical in and out. Convenient that I can power the unit with micro USB. I can easily bring the unit into the garage and power it with my portable power pack. Connecting to the blue tooth is not difficult and impressed with the range I was getting. Not sure if i'm a fan of the voice alerts, but not a deal breaker. One of the easiest ways to add Bluetooth capability to older equipment. Happy with this unit.
