Accurate Scale and nice display piece for other 1/6 scale collectibles (Barbie scale)
Excellent product. Accurate 1/6 scale and packaged well. You will need screwdriver to remove from box. Great display piece for other 1/6 scale collectibles (Barbie)

Better than expected!
This Vespa arrived quickly and in pristine condition. I used this for a 1/6 scale custom figure photo shoot. Very happy with this item. Thank you!

Nice for display, maybe not for serious collectors.
I got this as a prop for my 1/6 Yusaku Matsuda figure and it's perfect. Detailed and lightweight. There are minor imperfections on the Vespa that would irritate a serious collector who prefers everything mint. The speedometer is glued in crooked, there are white scuffs on the seat that won't come off, and the blue letters on the back are smeared. I don't mind, because it looks more realistic. Kinda gives it character. For being "diecast" it has a lot of plastic parts. At $40 it's great for casual display and I'm happy with it. The outer box was ripped and not appropriate for gifting, so keep that in mind.I will say that the older run of this same model has more detail. It has shiny chrome handlebars and black kickstand tips, etc. I only see that one pop up on auction sites tho. Amazon should remove the pics of that older version.

Cute model in hellish packaging
The Vespa itself is cute. Even though it's a mix of plastic and metal, and there's a bit of looseness with one or two of the plastic parts, overall it's nicely made. My problem with it is the packaging it arrived in. Good protection certainly but the plastic protection is molded around a black display. There's also cardboard wedged in between the layers of the base and it doesn't pull out. I somewhat managed to cut off the protective plastic, tricky to do without breaking anything, but what I really want to do is get the black base off. I don't want to use it anyway. But there are no instructions whatsoever of how to do this. There appear to be some tiny screws on either side of the base so I'm going to try unscrewing those but they are truly tiny so Im going to have to go get a special screwdriver teeny tiny enough to hopefully be able to undo these screws and hopefully I'm right that they'll release the base. If not, I"m going to have to get some sort of metal straw and see if I can saw off the base. Super super frustrating. If anyone knows how to get the base off, please let me know.

Expect minor issues that might require fixing. But if you get lucky, rejoice.
Item came with minor issues that bothered me, and might infuriate others.1. The motor and rear swing arm was detached and hanging loose. I was able to reinsert it and get it secured back in it's correct position. No glue necessary.2. All tires were off the rims to some degree more or less. This included even the spare. The rear tire being the worse of the three. This too I was able to fix. Again did not require glue just a little finger dexterity use.3. The clutch cable was loose at the handle bars. Required some modification and a small dab of glue to correct the issue properly. I did this well enough no one would ever be able to tell anything was done.4. Some minor scratches in paint finish (leg splash guard just above the Vespa logo. Tiny hairline scratches, right out of a sealed package. Tsk, tsk! This I have yet to address. I will contemplate how, if I decide to try and correct that. You might ask, "why not return it"?Well, I still like the model, and I intend to keep it. If I sent it back for replacement, I might receive a far worse example.Over all it is a nice piece, nicely detailed and compliments my 1/6th scale Xonex Lambretta motorscooter. I just think the maker should require better quality control.
