Fitment was great
Good quality fit perfectly and was perfect because it came with both of the studs that go in the bottom

Would be five but first one broke
Bought this as a replacement to the original from when we bought our house. This matched perfectly to what we had and was easy to install. Only complaint is that the bottom connector is plastic and broke off after bumping it while open.

Less than 6 months and won’t stay up

None of these are "Universal"
The tip attachments provided are 3/9 and 5/16. These may indeed be very common. In fact, most of these devices have one or the other or both tips. Mine was 1/4" and these did not fit. There are different styles and lengths and not all of them work with the depth of the attachment receptacle and some aren't wide enough. There are literally dozens of different sizes and styles and tip combinations. Watco makes a universal which does not use the drain screw holder, but is placed over the old drain (with the stopper removed) as it's own receptacle. I had to return mine. No fault of this product, but it is NOT universal.
