ExpertPower® 12V 8AH Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Battery Replacement for APC Back-UPS ES 550VA Pro 1300/1500 Liftmaster CSL-24VDC Slider Gate Opene - F2 Terminals / 8 Pack

I saw the 12v 8ah 8 pack for $159 and was skeptical. Were all of them tested and were they quality batteries I wondered.. so I ordered the 8 pack to replace batteries in 4 CyperPower UPSs ( 1x 1350AVR, 1x 1500AVR, 1x 1500VA, 1x 1350VA ). Note: This is a direct battery replacement in the 1350VA & 1350AVR which come stock with 2x BPS8-12 batteries in series for 24v. The battery also works as a replacement in the 1500AVR and the 1500VA but those two UPS come stock with HR1234W batteries in series for 24v. Knowing this, I pulled the existing 8 batteries and tested and installed the new 8 batteries received, 2 in each UPS. Each battery tested fine with no issues. They came fully charged but I enabled and monitored each UPS for 48 hours with no load then with load cutting live power several times during the test. No issues at all. Under 20-45% load each UPS worked as expected and the batteries performed without issue. In my opinion these are good batteries priced affordably so if you have a dead UPS laying around these would be good replacements for it. I left longevity wo a star and will update it in a few months.

All 8 batteries in the set I ordered tested good at nearly full charge. I replaced bad batteries in 4 1500VA UPS units and let them charge overnight before running runtime tests with a 500 Watt halogen lamp. All UPS units kept the load up for at least 12 minutes which was what the estimated runtime the UPS units themselves showed. I am very impressed with the value, quality and quick shipping of these batteries (arrived within a few days) and will update my review if any fail prematurely.

Trash. Lasted barely over 1 year. Other companies have 2 year warranty. AVOID! Contacted ExpertPower and they said oh too bad you're passed the 1 year warranty. I won't be buying from these idiots again. I have a ton of APC UPS and I'll be looking elsewhere.

Update 07-2020: So, 3.5 years later 3 out of 4 batteries; purchased in 01-2017 & 02-2017; are still working.The 4th battery; installed in my Verizon FIOS unit; just gave out after 3 years & 5 months. Even though my FIOS-UPS, the alarm-UPS, & other UPS's are all used in the same household the FIOS-UPS unit that causes SLA batteries to fail well before any other UPS unit. What is it about the FIOS-UPS ?Based on the performance of other 3 batteries I would upgrade to 4 stars.02-2017: Purchased a 2-Pack of ExpertPower 12V 8AH SLA Batteries in January for a good price. Needed 2 more in Feb when my FIOS battery went south and my oldest APC CS350 UPS battery finally gave out. (Could not believe that an original equipment APC battery lasted almost 8 years!)So I ordered another pair at the same price, BUT due to either minor mix-up or an inventory issue DID NOT received the same ExpertPower branded batteries. ExpertPower were marked 1611M - which they've told me means 2016-November.Unbranded look-alike were marked FL15 - which they tell me means that come from their manufacturer and FL15 refers to the date code =November. Staff at ExpertPower also wrote back that these batteries are fully supported and have the same warranty.So, 2 stars for now...will check back in 1 year to upgrade to 3 stars if they are still working....then will check back in 3 years and upgrade to 4 stars of they are still working...and finally will check back in 6 years and upgrade to 5 stars if they are still working.

I was reviving 4 APC power supplies. Volume pricing made the project much more cost effective.
