After trying many methods to clean our parrot cage, this did the trick! Parrot cages are usually powder coated steel, and can be tough to get as clean as you’d like due to the cracks and crevices wheee the parts align. When birdy poop “accidentally” gets into a tight space, it can be frustrating to get it clean. Since we are in a condo, a pressure washer wasn’t an option (and probably was overkill for the job) so I thought “hey why not try a steamer!” I’m glad I did, because it worked perfectly and there was little mess to deal with throughout. The Steamfast was quite simple to assemble and get going. Distilled water required a quick trip ‘round the bend, but after filling I was ready to go in under ten minutes.I used the plastic bristled brush and left the setting wheel kind of in the center. It was easy to just scrub over the spots I needed to clean, and the steam plus brush combo took care of the space in-between the cage panels. When I was done, the powder coating was intact, the cage was clean and spiffy, and the birds were thrilled.Looking forward to a lot less work when it comes time to do this job. Now I’m planning on heading to the bathroom for a little steam session on the grout!! So in short, five stars so far!!

LOVE this steamer. Highly recommend it, great price and solid product. Easy to carry, holds a lot of water, can clean for about 40 minutes. Takes about 10 minutes to heat up. I have gone crazy and cleaned everything since getting it (concrete floor, wood floor, windows, tile in bathroom, toilets and so much more). 2 downsides: 1) scrubbing tools do get hot and are pretty much "single" 45 minute use. However, I have found that using an old toothbrush instead with the nozzle sprayer works perfectly 2) plastic storage cover is useless. It does not affect the use of the steamer. Again highly recommend, I would buy this brand again!

used to sanitize but when i remember i have it i use it for other things, it is not a magic machine that instantly cleans things. you still have to put in the work but it does really good. what i love about it is that you can steam for a very long time with a single tank filling. have used multiple times and has sat up for a while but works when i plug it in.

Great steam cleaner. The only thing I wish was a little better was the quality of the attachments. When you're using the long extenders for something like steam cleaning a tile floor, you can't put too much pressure on it as it feels like it will break. When using it without the long extenders, it works great though for things like grout cleaning.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I have used my steamer on a weekly basis for a few months now with no problems whatsoever. I am not having any issues with the attachments and they snap on perfectly. The mop wand does get hot with long use but that is expected. It heats up in 10 mins. and comes with everything pictured. My house smells sterile and my windows look amazing. You can even add a few drops of essential oils to the mop pad and your house will smell amazing. To be extra sterile, I add antibacterial to the mop pad. If you want more attachments they are available for purchase. This product is a winner so don't hesitate.

I have to say I wasn't overly concerned with this purchase, there seemed like there were enough good reviews, that I felt confident ordering this steamer. I am mistaken, I feel as though it did a sub-par job at cleaning my grout lines, didn't even touch the soap build up in the shower, I'm not even sure if it did enough of anything. I am going to give it one more try before sending it back and if something changes I will revise my review. But quite honestly, I feel like this was a huge waste of time and money.

In retrospect I can see my expectations for this product were too high. Brought primary to clean grout of tiled floors throughout home. Used in conjunction with a liberal application of a good grout cleaning product, stiff grout brush and liberal rinsing, ten steam. Cleaning was effective. There is a learning curve. Wait a few minutes after application of cleaner to release dirt and use the brush to clean the grout. No hard scrubbing was required. Follow that with steam and it worked well for me. The only tool I found effective was using the 5.5” jet nozzle handheld. Using the small utility brush on an extension(s) wand was fruitless. This means working on the floor, so if you have a large floor space then plan on breaking the job up over a couple of days. I followed using the steam mop and microfiber pad. It is good for cleaning floors. Not so sure about the array of other attachments, I question their effectiveness. I also used the 9” squeegee on my glass shower door and was pleased with the result. I tried it on an atypical and unusual stain on the toilet lid and there was no noticeable change. This product definitely has limitations, but I must remember it is not meant to provide commercial results. If your sole purpose is related to grout and tile floors, I suggest renting a commercial device.Pros: Steam will last quite a while but not 90 minutes if adjustment is open to 5. Lightweight and easy to move. Long cord and hose. Bag for attachments. Funnel and measuring cup to get proper amount (48 oz) of water into the reservoir.Cons: Lower steam setting below 3 were useless. If demand is high the heating indicator light illuminates frequently. On first use I used at 5 continuously and after 5-7 minutes all steam will be exhausted (this is the learning curve). I thought the machine failed. Steam tube and electric cord don’t stow well (see photos). The onboard accessory door has no latch to secure the door closed. The microfiber pads are an unusual shape and not the same as the mop head or illustration in instruction booklet. Distilled water suggested. I used tap water treated by a softener and ran through two filters (this is the same water we drink at home). No water reaming indicator.I have a lot of tile but thankfully they are large squares, so grout was wide and much less linear feet than smaller tiles. I’ll keep the cleaner and use it to steam mop floors, windows, and grout again. I’ll try some other uses but I think I’ll not be using most of the other attachments. I don’t have confidence in their actual utility.
