It uses mostly Google software, So the user interface was a little bit different than the one I was familiar with - but it is also fine.The biggest thing to note is the battery - almost 11 ampere-hours!I believe this phone is designed for users that do a lot of streaming or gaming - fast processor, lots of memory, and a slot for adding your own micro-SD. This is by far the quickest responding phone I have ever had.I use it like my old phone - for calls, texting, and emails. At this time, I think I will be getting almost a week of my normal operating between charges.All of this and more for 1/3 the cost of my previous phone, with no T-mobile bloatware.It came with Android 13 installed, but immediately upgraded to Android 14.Since all of my Google apps were backed up on-line, I was up and running in no time. All I had to do was transfer my SIMM chip over from my previous phone.I really like this phone and am glad I tried it. If it had not worked, I could have factory reset it and returned it to Amazon. But, it does work better than any phone I've owned and I'm not giving it back.Based on MY personal experience, I can recommend this phone.

First thing about the phone is that it is heavy and a little thicker than most other smart phones. The battery lasts me at least 3 days, which is what I want in phone. The size of the memory is awesome: RAM 24GB and storage 256GB. I like the dual sim capability so that I can have two phone lines. The phone sound is clear and loud depending on the volume I set. The processor is fast and the camera takes great pictures. The screen size is great: 6.52 inch. Android 14 is definitely a plus! I wish the phone was 5G, but 4G Lite is good. Fast 18W charging is a good feature to have. The finger print support and face recognition works without any problems.The phone has an attached rugged case for protection against drops. I purchased earbuds to use because the phone doesn't have an earphone jack. There was no bloatware installed, which I am happy about.I'm very impressed with the price and the features of the G1 phone.

This phone has some good but overall bad. I had to download a launcher off the bat because the default one is bad. No big deal. I love the huge battery. You get used to the bulk and the weight. But 6 months in i had to quit using it. Google maps navigation and all other navigation apps won't work. The compass and accelerometer won't calibrate. A rugged phone should last longer than 6 months. My last ditch effort is factory reset. I will update this review if it works, trying tomorrow though.

This phone is perfect me as I'm constantly on the go. If you are a little clumsy at times then thos phone could be perfect for you as well. I've dropped it a couple times, I must admit, but you'd never know from looking at my phone. Sometimes I'll accidentally put it in my pocket with my keys or what have you and, I swear, it has the most scratch resistant screen I've ever seen. It's loud, has crisp videos with remarkable clarity. I only have to charge it once every few days as it has a nice, large battery. Works flawlessly and is pretty fast to boot. Rugged is an understatement. It has a little weight to it but one gets used to that pretty quickly. The clarity of videos is amazing. Very clear. The G1 phone is undoubtedly the BEST phone I've ever owned and I've went through a ton of cell phones. It's very affordable and for it's price... You get way more than you pay for. Can't go wrong with this one!

The media could not be loaded. Got this phone as a spare for traveling and wow it’s so heavy. Didn’t expect it to feel like a brick because of the weight but it does feel really good quality. Pleasantly surprised at how heavy duty and with the great light function, would be perfect when I go to camping or fishing. The picture quality and sound is also pretty good, the battery also last pretty long, for this price I’m pretty happy. Will have to use longer to see the battery degradation speed is since that’s always my problem when using most phones. I’m also having a hard time finding screen protector so will have to shop around for that.

Using this spare phone for few weeks now since I purchased it, when I just got it, it pack with good care with it , and I open the box the phone it self already have the case with all coner protection it save me time go look for the case for this phone, and when I start setting the phone it sample just like other,when I play game on this phone it running smooth and have good batter life phone sound is not that great but still good 👍. I make a good choice to buy this phone.
